Amazing Morphine Experience!
To start things off, swim is unsure of how many milligrams he consumed during the experience.
The experience started out when swim's brother asked him if he'd be interested in trying out some morphine. Only trying morphine once before, swim jumped at the offer and drove over to swim's brother's house. After getting to his house, swim started off by snorting two medium sized lines of morphine. Swim waited around 10 minutes, but swim wasn't feeling too much, so he decided to do another line along with 1mg of crushed klonopin. After snorting the klonopin, swim began to feel the effects of the morphine like a brick wall hitting him. At first, swim's visual perception began to change. Everything began to seem to get darker and swim had a hard time concentrating on one object. Swim's eyes seemed to flicker around the room like they had a mind of their own. After finishing the morphine, swim and his brother had to get back to swims house. Since swim was too messed up to drive, swim's brother decided to drive home. On the way home, swim smoked one cigarette which greatly increased the feeling of sedation. When swim got home, swim noticed that he had a real hard time walking, and he felt extremely tired. For around 4 hours this feeling continued to stay around the same until swim finally passed out around 9pm. Overall swim thinks it was an amazing experience, and swim believes that the klonopin caused the effects to last longer and hit harder. Swim's question is: is klonopin the only benzo that increases the effects of morphine, and does it also work with snorting both the morphine and klonopin? |

Second of all, mixing opioids with other CNS depressants, like benzo's, will potentiate each other A LOT! But this can be vary dangerous and unpredicable, for this reason SWIM advices SWIY to keep any other CNS depressants out of the mix, for safety's sake. |

Re: Amazing Morphine Experience!
yea, the main problem with mixing Morphine with any drug that acts on GABA is that the Benzo will greatly enhance the effects of the Opioid... which is good.... however respritory depression is the main problem with mixing the two.

Re: Amazing Morphine Experience!
I wouldnt recommend mixing opiates and benzos... case in point, a common IV sedative called VERSED is a mixture of Valium and Demerol. This is what they use to put you to sleep with when you have your wisdom teeth taken out.
Valium (Diazepam) and Demerol (meperidine) have a very synergistic affect. |

Re: Amazing Morphine Experience!
This is a rough thought, but shouldn't something which acts on GABA reduce the euphoria of opiates? When opiates bind to opiate receptors at presynaptic neurons this reduces the levels of GABA released which results in dopaminergic disinhibition, which in turn results in high levels of dopamine being released resulting in the euphoria. If GABA or GABAergic drugs were present surely they would intefere with this mechanism at the presynaptic neuron and result in less euphoria (through this mechanism) due to the inhibition of dopamine release.

Re: Amazing Morphine Experience!
SWIM mixes benzo and opiates all the time, its a bit of a ritual for him in fact. He usually has oxazepam but uses diazepam also when he aint got no oxazepam left. This usually relieves (for him) some of the onset anxiety effects from the opiates, this is a common side effect for onset apparently.
Usually he only uses a medicinal dosage if he is going to mix it with opiates. Half an oxazapam or one valium usually is quite sufficient. Caution is advised of course. Know SWIyour limits as it is easy for the sedation effect to go to far. Because certain opiates also interact with GABA as well as opiate receptors the sedation effect can be quite large. That said, the combination of benzo and opiate seems to accelerate the effects of BOTH drugs and SWIM finds it quite enjoyable. Again, use common sense and know SWIyour limits. Hope this has been of help

Re: Amazing Morphine Experience!
SWIM will agree with the what Samurai said above.
Doing this has dangers, but so does using drugs w/o a script. SWIM will use Benzo's more often when SWIM has less of an Opiate/Opioid to get more of an effect. Or, SWIM will use em to go to bed, as mixing the 2 has a higher sedetive effect. SWIM finds that mixing the 2 is very pleasurable tho. |
