QUICK answer please regarding smoking heroin

swim is a very casual heroin user. However swim no long touches needles due to a cocaine overdose and bad veins. the question at hand is if one were to chase the dragon, how much heroin should one put in for one hit? like say swim sniffs .25mg to get a good high, how much should he smoke? is it like shooting where u typically use less than what u sniff??? quick swim is getting high right now

also is the typical method just putting it on tin fiol, lighting and inhaling the smoke via a straw? do you hold the hit for a long long long time?
