Dangerous conditions.

Swim is interested, what the limits are of our bodily parameters.

So for example, when is an heart rate really considered dangerous. (Eg: Is this 160 for 4 hours for a sportsman? Or 110 for someone with a heart disease.) And can your body withstand a bloodpressure of 160/110?

Also which conditions will need medical intervention, but are to subtle to notice without proper measurement devices? It would be nice to have one thread with that kind of information, so people can lookup whether they are doing dangerous things. So it is more difficult to ignore.

Swim got some information, but he doesn't know what it means. Is it dangerous if he got a bloodpressure of 140/89 for 4 hours?

Swim interpret this as with everything above hypertensive emergency, it is time to call 911 or 112 and with hypertension he should monitor it a bit. But if he used a drug and the blood pressure is after three days still elevated to 139/89, does he need to go to an doctor?
