Compressed Morphine tabs

Swims friend showed swim these little tabs that he claimed were just compressed morphine. They were about match head size maybe smaller, brittle looking, and suspiciously unmarked. Needless to say, swim is very skeptical. He is not asking for a pill id.
He just wants to know if somekind of compressed morphine tab with no binders or impurities even exists.
Any info is appreciated.

morphine generally wont stay together too well without binders, i guess with a lot of pressure one could make a pill from pure morphine, but it wouldn't keep its form for long and would crumble without much effort
