UK - Another Cacti Chips Mescaline Arrest - Case Closed

I don't know how many of you remember but a certain Irkain Alien was arrested last October 2006 for possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

He had his door kicked by some mean and angrey looking police officers all because he ordered 2Kg of Dry cacti, which they presumed was a class A drug. While searching the Irkian Invaders home they found 5 Litres of HCl, 5 Litres of H2SO4, 10 Litres of Xylene, 5 Litres of Acetone and lots of other mushroom growing equipment, spores and Lab equipmnt, which clearly gave them all hard ons.

They also took swims encrypted computer too, which they where unable to crack.

Anyway after having to go and answer swims bail every 3 months, with lots of one sided (no comment) taped interviews, for more than 1 year, Swim has finally been in touch with his solicitor who said that the case has been dropped and Zim can get everything back.

So he is gona sort that out tomorrow, I think he will probably also need to get it all in writing so at least he can post the info online so that it may help others.

Zim just wants to thank sergei77 as he helped him loads by sending him lots of usefull information from his own court case, more or less as soon as it had finished.

It is presumed that if the new law regarding the enforced handover of encryption keys had already been in place that SWIY would have been sentenced to two years for refusing to hand over their key?

Well, only the stuff that hasn't gotten "lost" in the evidence room...

Well yeah, why shoudnt they ?

I have not been charged with anything and they have reviewd and droped the case.
So legaly there is no reason why I cant have everything back.
Though the mushrooms stuff wasnt being used at the time and it was all boxed and as for the spores, there legal too.

Hey, I'll join in the well-wishing on the results of this case. I'm really pleased about that.

More darkly,though, it seems that the British drug law dudes are periodically having a go at anything remotely related to that most feared of worlds, the psychedelic, and I fear it is only a matter of time before more stuff becomes illegal. The goalposts continue to shift, until it will become illegal to even have a book about psilocybe mushrooms, or look at a mescaline-containing cactus, or even think about an ingredient of ayahuasca. One of the problems in Britain is that of self-image: many folk still live under the illusion that it is a freedom-loving place, where the law exists for the benefit of the good, whereas it is turning into more and more of a police state, without (most dangerously) most of its inhabitants even realising it. Which is well dodgy.

Anyway, congrats once more to the Irkain alien; long may it and its kindred spirits flourish.

That's very nice news for the Irkan. But I have to say that they had no case while even the UN backed the Irkan Alien up. Time for a good smoke I'd say! Enjoy!
