Cultivation - HELP: My Salvia Divinorum plants are dying?

SO ive got 5 placts. all different varieties... of theE "Salvia Divinorum" plants.


I live in the Northeast of America. My parents and older sibling have been against me growing salvia for a while... So sometimes when im not home. They place the plants out side. During the summer...it was okay, except for the occasion hot and dry days that'd semi fry the leaves. but water works wonders on these plants. they sure are resilient.


However now that winter is coming... they had been putting the plants out. and there are really cold winds...

Finally i brokered a deal with them, so the plants would be out of their way, but i'd still get to keep them.

However the damage has allready been done. My five plants have NO LEAVES at all. and all that remains is the staulk.

The staulk has been resilient as well... but ive been noticing that the top nodes have been starting to die. the top most node dies, then the node below it starts it's dying process.


My plants never really grew that long, so time is of the essence. HOw do i have my plants spring back to life.

i lose one node every week of each plants roughly.... so i'd say theres 3-4 weeks before i have no more plants haha.

the plants are currently in my room... i mist them everyday
and water them one a week. I had Acclimated them to the the climate around here.. to the point that they did realyl well outside. (originally i had them encased in plastic to keep the mositure up....but i acclimated them cus of the weather)...


Any advice?

two of them have just rapidly died.... like all nodes just died.... bu three of them still stand and seem as if they are still fighting death lol.

Maybe it is an idea to take a cutting and see if SWIY can grow from there.
