here are mine:

Ninja Scroll
Basilisk (the series)
Ren & Stimpy
Happy Tree Friends
Spirited Away
anything from the Spike & Mike Twisted Festival

Re: Cartoons and Weed

^Manga is definantly the best to watch when high, ever seen (as well as ninja scroll and afro samurai) -ghost in the shell?, or the second one? (the series isnt to good at only being a 12 in the UK, probably equate as PG13 anywhere else)... storyline is proper involved and some of the sayings that come out are surely a recording of someone tripping on mushrooms nearby. Challenges the whole idea of how do we know we exist, and what sanctions intelligent lif/self awareness.
A truely good film (both of them), even better if someone is high.

Sorry SWIM braught it up, but when SWIM is high, for some reason he loves to watch spongebob if he can, or the more adult cartoons like family guy, american dad, and far, far moreover; south park!!!, metalocalypse is also awsome considering SWIM loves metal

as far as intelligent cartoons go, its hard to cut it for SWIM as he usually finds that the animators sometimes pull the entire thing off perfectly and the storywriters mess it up, or vise versae; making it more comical than intelligent and thought worthy, may aswell just watch the above mentioned and giggle to that, otherwise:

Ghost in the shell
Ghost in the shell II -Innocence
Afro Samurai
Ninja Scroll

....logically the list is expanding very slowly considering that SWIM is only a student and cant afford to get a new movie every week

Re: Cartoons and Weed

swim isnt a fan of japanese anime so swim can't watch that no matter how high swim gets. However, swim loves watching cartoon network and nickalodean shows like kenan and kel, family guy, midnight cartoon network(not sure what its called) and all types of comedy, especially stand-up. Swim definately recomends all katt williams movies as well as boss n up while your high. make sure when you watch bossn up, especially the first time your high. There is a character in there that trips me out every time just looking at him. Swim has yet to see the movie sober and everytime he sees it the guy looks real goofy, don't know how else to say it, almost like he isnt a human, liek an alien or somethin, its wierd, either way he is extremely ugly, lol.

H.R Pufnstuf, or anything else created by Sid & Marty Krofft (Land of the Lost, Lidsville, Pryor's place...etc). Television created by drug-people for drug-people, to watch while on drugs.

Honestly, when he's really high, swim enjoys "The Replacements." He accidentally sat on the remote one time and changed the channel and ended up watching the show the whole way through.

Re: Cartoons and Weed

Family Guy
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Spongebob Squarepants (Don't laugh at me! He's awesome!)

But my all-time fave is this:
Any cartoon will do really, something that has a lot of colors and movement/action is best.. then mute the tv, and turn up some underground hip hop shit- atmosphere, del, you know.. the cartoon images combined with the music, and the way they seem to synch up and work together... it's fascinating.. but then again, I'm easily amused.

Edit: Oh! or the Pacman 3-d game for PS2.. it's this bright 3-d forest with all these fruits that you eat/collect, and these tree mazes.. I'm not a video-game kinda girl, but I can play this game for hours.. except now I'd have to go drive my folks' house and hijack my li'l bro's PS2, so it hasn't happened for some odd years now.. but, ahh, the memories.. either by itself, the music is actually kinda catchy- or- again- mute it and crank up some funky hip hop. Oh the good old days *sigh* Am I the only one with this particular fetish? Hehe. I'm weird. But I swear it is the trippiest thing you will ever see.

Depending on the substance at hand, the altered state sought, and the nature of the cartoon, the experience can be one of transcendence rather than amusement (though all perception is amusement). First peak experience during which this occurred was with 12 fresh grams P. Cubensis, a mild joint, Godzilla!1984, and Jessamine's self-titled album. A beautiful amalgamation of sound and imagery with potent intertwining socio-political statuses, resulting in a fracture cacophony of connectivity, emotional transcendence, and unrelentless analytical rapture. Swim highly recommends this substance/sound/sight ingestion experience for intrigued swimmers.
