current'ly swim, living in ny, has been sniffing very expensive heroin to eliminate chronic pain. its not possible to do this for the rest of my life. is there anything anyone can suggest on on how swim can can manage an opioid/morphine dependence for life? maybe a country to move to which is much more opioid aboundant/tolerant (thus significanlt lower costs). id rather die than without pain relief - tanks

Any way you look at it, the forecast for such a thing is not good.

In Switzerland, One can be "prescribed" Heroin if one has had a provable long term habit. Not sure on the status of immigrants though, I.E: weather you have had to be a citizen for a certain amount of time before you can qualify for that etc.

One could also go to a pain management specialist, though one may have already tried that. Generally if one has a provable chronic pain that cannot be rehabilitated then the docs wont have any problem in hooking SWIY up. However, if the docs think that it wont be a significant term of chronic pain then they will usually taper one off and use other therapies to rehabilitate a person. In some cases doctors are total idiots unless one goes to an expensive doctor.

If its just habit for habits sake then wanting a lifetime of habit can be a very destructive thing and one would discourage that.

Assuming that what SWIY says is true and they have a significant chronic pain which is likely to persist for the rest of their life (cancer, aids, etc) then One would strongly suggest the pain management specialist.

In any other case, one would just be doomed for an expensive heroin habit for the rest of their life.

Visit a pain management specialist and be honest about your pain and ask for advice, hopefully they'll be compassionate and provide something strong enough to keep you able to live relatively pain free.

Some people do find alternative therapies very effective but obviously it depends on the individual and on the cause of pain.

To add a bit to the mention of Switzerland though, Swim believes that it's extremely difficult for someone foreign born to obtain citizenship and that immigration would be out of the question given Swiarcice's circumstances.

Hah an easy,lifelong supply of opiates.If it were that easy a thing to find swim would have been set.At one time Southeast Asia would have been the place to go but swim heres its a bit more difficult there now.

If one has the money and one doesn't mind living in squalor or jungle then Laos / Burma / Cambodia and even Thailand all have Opium dens still going. SWIM is there almost half the year most years. It is relatively cheap to survive there one could live quite well on about $10k for the year, 20k for a year would have you living like a king.

If that was a consideration for one, then one must also remember this. What do SWIYou do when you run out of money. What do you do when THEY run out of Opium. Both happen regularly. Moving to S.E.Asia is the last thing One would be considering if one had chronic pain. Example: If SWIYou's answer was to "get a job for money" then the chronic pain SWIYou is in cant be that bad because working in S.E.Asia is VERY hard work for almost no money. lol.

One could, if they had the money, buy a property in the country and grow their own Opium. This is the solution that SWIM would probably take if he were in that situation. If one got sick of Opium because of the Nacrotine content (it is an alkaloid found in large quantities in opium which does nothing psychologically or pharmacologically but does upset about 99.9% of peoples stomaches VERY badly) one could then learn how to precipitate their own Morphine from the opium instead. All of this information is quite readily available here (for research purposes only, no one here takes responsibility for anyone else's actions if they decide to do it).


Seriously, the best thing you can do is go to a pain management specialist, be honest with them (though dont tell them about the Heroin) and tell them that the lortab is doing nothing for you now, they will probably reassess SWIYour condition and adjust dosage. There is a rather large down side to this or any avenue SWIYou takes though, And that is tolerance. One would, over time, need increasingly higher and higher dosages. One will outline something which happened to a friend.

Long story short he went with SWIM to Thailand, shagged a dirty Thai Hooker WITH NO RUBBER (he was well drunk and didn't care) and contracted AIDS. Through pain management over the years he was still alive he got up to around 1600mg per day of Morphine (8x200mg tabs every day) which is the largest dosage allowed in his particular country and only for terminal patients. One particular day he wasted time, forgot what he was doing, didnt get his script in time and basically stuffed up his whole day. The next day he went and got his script, he went home with his little bag of pills for the month and because he was feeling so shit he took 4. SWIM found him the next day deceased. Medical examination showed that the AIDS didnt kill him but the Morphine did. How? He had such a Huge tolerance? Opiate tolerance tapers off rather sharply . . . . over the day and a half he was without Morphine ended up being a day and a half too long to be able to take 4 of those 200mg's safely. Normally he would be able to do that and just be buzzed a bit, but because there was such a large gap between his doses he is now just a headstone which reads "beloved friend".

nice reply, in swims case a pain management md wont ever work. swim wasted 10 grand a month staying comfortable 24/7 on heroin and was plenty active in the day. swim would live in a shed if it ment swim can have and affordable narcotic to keep good. 10k a year was a little more than swim thought, swim will live cheapest a possible but money could be sent to swim from father whose already actually sent swim almost that much this year after swim ran out of money and belive swim he aint going keep doing it when swim needs like 60k/year to buy heroin in the usa. he will do 5k/year, but maybe 10k. hell swim thought 1k a year would be enough until swiy posted. sure swim could skip a day or 2 to make lortab stronger until the next pain attack which would immediatley make swim extract it and do like 20. swim doesnt like the idea of opium running out in the golden triangle, swim would probably buy a lot of it and stash it

swim forget to mention about the issues swims facing in upstate NY. at one point a couple years ago swim could afford heroin, one $10 dime bag would have enough potency to last a whole day. after many crackdowns by our wonderful police force the dime bags cost $15 and are 1/10th the potency. swim believes in the golden triangle that a dime bag of grade A might cost, what $1 ? so $1 a day?? hmmm swim needs hope

One wouldnt suggest it, lmao, what they pass off there as H is DIRTY and one certainly would not want to be putting it in his/her veins. Unpredictable potency there means alot of heroin related deaths also. Having some experience here, it is not necessarily as cheap there as one might think, it IS cheaper, it IS better BUT it is far dirtier, cut with worse stuff locally and if ya get caught there . . . . well . . . . death sentence . . .

Cops there are just itching to fuck with westerners when it comes to H and MJ, and will even set you up, arrest you, then give the rock back to the guy whom sold it to you to do it to another westerner. More common place than one thinks. Take a look at how many westerners are in S.E.Asian jails. Heh, disturbing to say the least.

swim only sniffs the bags, never touched a needle, but what a shame to hear how intollerable it is - death sentance wtf? swims only option is to move to nyc where the quality is 2x better than upstate, and $10 bags, but still swims trips to nyc and testing 4 different dope brands were not as good as last years cargo packs and white flakey H (roadrunners) which swim was told the whiteflakey was pure and dont know how it was only $10 but swim cant find it anywhere in nyc and its not tolerence cos swim was without anything for a couple days before trying stuff down there. swim can see a small possibility at nyc but its just so difficault, and swiy make it sound much harsher at the east asia area. swim managed to stop taking the lortab for over a day and now swim is high as hell on only 6 of them, which wont last though, tolerance is really funny and different types of opiates (lortabs, different brands of heroin have their own highs and tolerence levels as if they target different areas in the brain).

ok but if the laws are so bad there how can swiy suggest buying property to grow it!? thats a dead give away for death penalty, no? if one can grow it one must assume its legal? swim wishes he could find someone there whom he can trust, would hiar someone if knew who.

Definitely, the same as with every other drug tolerance and highs vary with "batches" or "brands". Its not that they target different areas of the brain, its just that the contained opiates will be of different qualities and quantities.

In highland areas of S.E.Asia One is fairly far away from others and One would be more likely to see militants rather than police. A lot of the penalties which apply for H over there do not apply to growing Opium Poppies. Most of the time even the police wont care as long as One has the money to "bribe" them. Police bribes from westerners is almost a traditional custom over there. Some of the time they need to make an "example" of a westerner otherwise every one would be over there doing it, these "examples" are fairly common and no bribe is gonna save the person. SWIM knows all of this info because he has spent the last 20 or so years going back and forth from S.E.Asia and watched it change and evolve into what it is now, it went from being a relaxed random Chaos to unpredictable Pure Chaos in his opinion.

One hopes some of the stuff he has said has been educational, The state of the golden triangle would be a hard thing to determine because of a number of factors. The main one being that our western governments do not want us going there for that purpose.

It is all good when we want to go there for white sands $5 lobster beach dinners and tropical waters in a "traditional" luxury bamboo hut which has nothing to do with tradition. But go there to see the REAL S.E.Asia and one is certain to encounter difficulties, and even dangers.

1 American dollar is about 30 Baht (Thai Money). Cops usually take about 3 to 5 hundred Baht from tourists on a fairly regular basis. Get caught with no license on one of the motorbikes you can hire, 300 Baht give or take. One is looking at about $10 to $20 US every time one gets caught for something small. For something larger one can usually bribe their way out of it if they know the lingo and what they are doing. not unusual to pay $2000 or $3000 Baht for something a little more . . . err . . . naughty. Frequency? depends on how much ya get caught, for the motorbike thing, probably every other day.

One says "why not get a license" - "another says what for". The amount of crap you have to go through and once you do you are known by the law because no one else does. BEEP BEEP . . red light for all too see. If one was going to live there then one would get a license but if you are only going for a few weeks of even a few months it is cheaper not to, even with the "fines".

OOps, forgot to add some info. SWIM also says that the law isnt as clear cut as "for both with intent to smoke". If they decide SWIY is doing it for cultivation and export then thats what they decide. Courts of law aren't what they are in western countries either. Most of the places we are hypothetically talking about are as corrupt as it gets. The police and government decide who and where, when and how. They can basically do whatever they want and the people with enough money can basically pay to be able to do whatever they want, literally. If for some reason SWIY gets on the bad side of them then they will just arrest you on some bullshit charge and throw SWIY in jail just because they can and there will be nothing SWIY can do about it. Sure SWIY's embassy will come and visit and tell SWIY that they are doing there best to try and get SWIY out of that hell hole etc etc etc, but it ends up being what it is. A corrupt area of the world. Our "government officials" over there are just as corrupt as the rest of them. SWIM knows all this from direct experience. So if SWIY does decide to go to the golden triangle just to support a habit or even for pain management then prepare for it to be alot different than what SWIY thinks.

There are reports of very pure heroin (and even a video one saw on the interNUT) of very pure heroin getting into russia for very cheap because of the war in Afghanistan. In the video, kids (some as young as 8 or 9) were jacking up H into their arms (very sick in ones opinion) in a video which shocked the hell out of one and one believes it almost borders on child abuse just putting that video on the interNUT. So if its cheap H that SWIY is after then Southern Russia is the place to be at the moment.

Even if one is to move to another country for the purposes of pain management or whatever other purpose one may have one will find that most countries will not be as tolerant as one may think. In the golden triangle one would be a target just because one is a westerner. In Russia one would be a target just because one is a westerner. In South America one would be a target for the same reasons. There may be some third world countries out there in which one could live and grow a great plantation and live for years and years hassle free, but then again, most of those third world countries are run by dictators and warlords who's power is absolute. Any way one looks at it, it is a roll of the dice. One is sorry if any of this comes across harsh, and believe me that it is not my intent to offend anyone, but the fact remains that "no matter where you go there you are".

Ones own opinion is that a nice house in the country, somewhere cheap and somewhere away from everyone, one would be able to grow as much opium as one wanted to. SWIM grows a fair bit himself (although he uses it all himself too) but he is in the country but also fairly close to a city. There are police locally where he is and if people knew what they were looking at they could probably drop a dime. But SWIM keeps his garden so well maintained that often he has to point it out even to One when he goes to visit.

Opium is defiantly not the solution though if one is looking for long term pain management through self medicating. One will find that one needs alot more opium than Heroin. One will also find that Opium will probably never quite do what SWIY wants it to either. If one is used to the Heroin feeling and if that is what one is looking for then Opium will never quite make the grade for SWIY. Sure one could learn how to make DiacetylMorphine rather easily from the Opium he grows if he takes the time to research it. It is a rather easy process (easier than making Morphine Sulphate actually) and very few dangerous chemicals are involved, one could quite easily make it in ones own kitchen. After all a lot of it is made in clandestine labs out in the middle of desserts or jungles. Once one grows experienced with chemistry then one could almost do it with their eyes shut. To make a good amount of DiacetylMorphine from an opium crop just for one persons consumption for the year then one would have to take a look at how much they use in a year, compare that to typical yield charts easily found on the interNUT and work out just how big a patch one would need to grow. Keeping in mind that one would be making it himself, the purity of it would surpass street heroin substantially so caution would be advised upon use. Street heroin comes to one as such - Opium is turned into Morphine base, Morphine base is converted by acetylation into Heroin (DiacetylMorphine), the Heroin is then "jumped on" (cut) many times over with various substances before it even reaches another country. Every hand it passes through will almost certainly cut it. Powdered milk, epsom salts, caffeine (yes even caffeine), Glucose, Dextrose, and just about anything else one can think of which will dissolve either clear or semi clear. As the purity increases so does the mortality rate, If one was to make their own then one would almost certainly have to be EXTREMELY careful as what one makes would be about 70% more potent than what is on most streets.

SWIM says something his Dad told him long ago may apply here, and he says its very true (and he should know because he has been around the world a few times.)

wonderful post. in northern america its now 33degrees, will be 13degrees tonight, those arnt very good temperatures for any kind of guarden. swim would need heaters to grow the poppies in a barn swim has in the country. the power to run the heaters would cost more than anything
