Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
SWIM wants to try one of these drugs but has never done these or LSD.
What would SWIM suggest trying, and at what dosage, and which method (the easiest preferable). Thanks |

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
SWIY should probably try Hawaiian Baby Woodrose first. They'll probably only need like 12-14 seeds, and it's relatively easy to perform a simple extraction so that they don't get sick.

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
12-14 seeds is definitely above the common dose and will without question lead to physical impact, resulting in a "heavy" and commonly refered to as "restless" and "uncomfortable" trip. Unless impotent seeds are acquired, a safe dose of LSA is less than 10 seeds. The vasoconstrictive properties of LSA can lead to dangerous complications, and high doses should be avoided, especially for first time users. The only downside to an LSA experience as an introduction to the Tryptamine family is the overwhelming physical properties of both the LSA and of seed ingestion, and the oils that come with it. Try a slightly lower dose, or as is recommended, do an extraction, though the only real way to avoid nausea, a sometimes overriding factor in the trip, is to rectally dose with relatively pure LSA. An alcohol extraction can be performed overnight, with positive results in the morning.

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
As for the "easiest", a simple h2o extraction would be the most efficient for SWIYr time and money. Water is a polar substance, just like alcohol, and can therefore act in the same fashion. Crush up 8-10 seeds to a fine powder, stir into h2o and heat gently, let sit for 12-24 hours, strain (or don't), and drink.

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
SWIM had morning glory seeds back before he had ever tried LSD as well and his experience was with ~300 morning glory seeds on a fed, but not full stomach. He did not have an uncomfortable trip, in fact, it was pretty underwhelming. Though, it wasn't a bad experience, no nausea, just not a very large effect compared to what SWIY would expect.

Metomni
Did SMIY eat the seeds or do an extraction? |

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
SWIM simply ate the seeds, it kinda sucks to eat them though, they're very hard to bite and it takes a while along with not really having an appreciable taste.
Though, when it comes down to it, SWIM would recommend the experience to any SWIY with a curiosity. If SWIY decides to try some, beware of the seeds SWIY uses, typical store bought seeds have the danger of getting something on them that will make SWIY sick. Safe and happy tripping! |

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
GO with HBWR. SWIM has to eat much less (10 or so HBWR, 300-400 Morning Glory).
And make sire you scrape all the stuff off the seeds, it will make you sick. Its the same stuff thats in apple seeds that makes you sick. They should look like little chocolate chips when you are finished. |

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
Apple seeds contain Arsenic, which in elemental form, and in small amounts, is harmless to the point of not inducing nausea. Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds however, contain Cyanide, another element, mildly harmful alone, but devastating when degraded to hydrogen cyanide, which occurs when it enters the body during seed consumption. In this form, the amount found in 10 HBW seeds causes nausea as well as vasoconstriction, which results in the common complaint of "achy limbs".

Anyway, I'm not sure it's cyanide in HBWR seeds which causes the nausea, since that isn't one of the symptoms of cyanide poisoning. There doesn't seem to be any consensus on what compound is responsible for the nausea. |

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
So SWIM just ordered 50 of HBWR (Hawaiian version).
He has been debating on whether or not just to peel the coating back of 6 seeds, grind em up and eat them. Or do a water extraction. Opinions? |

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
A water extraction would lessen the nausea normally associated, but the vasoconstriction (achy limbs) would remain present. To bypass all physical impairment, and have a more cognitively oriented trip, SWIY should consider doing a water extraction, followed by a partial evaporation, and a rectal dosing. This has been a time-tested method of bypassing negative physical reactions by exposing alkaloids to a porous membrane with no enzymes to digest essential oils. An everclear extraction has also been reported to bypass nausea and some vasoconstriction, but has not been empirically tested to the best of my knowledge.

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
Shampoo, in you said above that you could strain the heated seeds (or not). Does this mean that the harmful substances are evaporated and all the gunk can be ingested?
Also I couldn't find any reports on rectal dosing, can SWIY share any? |

Re: Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose
All my research shows that cyanogenic glycosides should evaporate with the H20, leaving a more edible gunk with less 'nasties'. Swim cannot find any reports on the interweb, but has a few experiences with rectally dosed LSA, and will write one up within the next few days.
