Purity - Anyway to purify Ketamine (powder)

SWIM ussually gets really good ketamine, however SWIM is always worried about other additives and cuts (if any). SWIM's ketamine does not look like completely crystals, there is some fine white powder which also tastes like K. At times SWIM's nose gets very dry, then then very stuffed up and very gooey, almost like the feeling that a cement brick is sitting in SWIM's nose. SWIM even tries to snort salt/water to wash his nose but it doesnt help.

What swim was wondering is that is there anyway to purify or re-crystalize K so that when he does it he feels safe that it is K and as less of anything else as possible.

SWIM would love it if it came in true liquid form, but it is almost unheard of in liquid form in swim's city.

The fine white powder is most likely smaller particles of ketamine.

yeah SWIM knows the fine white powder has ketamine in it, he can tell from the taste. However swim is still suspecious that it may be cut, or it def should be cut anyways, since in today's world money is more addictive than any drug.

I'm pretty sure one could use something like 99% isopropyl alcohol to dissolve, filter, and evaporate, possibly yielding purer ketamine (if the adulterants are insoluble).

One could try a re-x from a pentane-ether mixture. Naptha would be a good substitute for pentane....ether can be obtained OTC, although it may need some purification b4 use...

If it doesn't all go into solution...or the rate of dissolution seems to slow considerably near the end...these may be insoluble impurites...one would then do hot solvent filtration or simple decantation if possible.
