J Collis Browne's Mixture: will chugging this stuff kill me?

This is sold in England OTC, it's 20mg of Anydrous Morphine per 100ml bottle, and i just bought a bottle. Anyway, these are the ingredients:

"Each 5ml dose contains 1mg morphine anhydrous, and 1.5mcl peppermint oil, Ph.Eur, Also contains ethanol (96%), Benzoic acid (E210), Caramel (E150), citric acid (E330), Sorbitol solution. Ethanol: 2.13% v/v per 100ml bottle"

I tried googling but i cant find info on the oral bioavailability of morphine, or a good oral dose. will i feel anything at 20mg, and if i chug it am i going to die?

20mg is a decent dose for morphine. You should definitely feel something, but I don't know about drinking a whole bottle of that shit. The other effects might just make it a nasty experience. 100ml is quite a lot of shit to drink.

England, my friend, land of archaic tinctures and loopholes. fairly shit though, only 20mg/100ml, and in france, pure codeine and DXM are available OTC! i'm making a pharmacy run down there soon.

Anyway, as it was only 100ml, i only had very mild stomach discomfort an a very pleasant morphine buzz, especially when mixed with some poppy seed tea. wasnt too hard to chug either, and this is coming from someone who cant STAND cough syrups and that kind of thing. overall a very nice experience. if i can get sold it again, i'll definitely repeat.

Yes, it's OTC in the UK, but only in minute doses, and few pharmacies sell it.

20mg isnt too shabby, and i bought this from Boots, the big boy of pharmacies in the UK

For an opioid virgin 20mg might be a good starter, but for someone with even a low tolerance it would be way too little, and chugging half a liter of a nasty mixure doesn't sound to appealing to most people. SWIM went to the UK twice this year, and also visited a whole bunch of pharmacies. Most don't sell morphine containing syrups anymore, and most boots stores don't sell it either. SWIM bought a 200ml bottle of Kaolin & Morphine at Boots by the way, just as a souvenir, not for recreational use.

legally, every Boots store has to sell it, and if they dont have it in stock, they have to order it for you. often they just pretend they dont have it in stock, but if you ask for them to order it there's not much they can do. i'd been doing heroin, kratom, and codeine for the past 3 days before i dosed, and i still got a decent kick out of this stuff, by drinking it with fizzy water and a bit of poppy tea.

Like I said, there's only a small dose of morphine per bottle of syrup, if one has a normal to high habbit, one would need a few dozen bottles to keep withdrawl away for a couple of days. And pharmacies are not allowed to sell more than one bottle per transaction, and some won't even sell more than one per day.

word. this stuff is great for an easy opiate high for the casual recreational user, but for a seasoned opiate addict, it's simply not practical unless there's some way to extract the morphine, and even then, at £5.59 per bottle, it'd be far cheaper to just buy heroin and wean yourself down.
