Re: Cannibis + Flotation Tank
Bit of an oldie to pull up, but SWIM has been in a floatation tank a number of times, under the influence of a number of different naughty substances!
Swim's advice to you would be to get hold of a nice strong SATIVA strain (I know, Swiy won't be happy asking their dealer for this, but get hold of it how Swiy can). Cannabis Sativa makes for a more psychedelic, uplifting, mental stone, rather than the normal lethargic, stoning body buzz associated with Cannabis Indica (and also crappy resin). The reason Swim advises this is because a floatation tank is a form of sensory deprivation, which alone can send one into altered states of consciousness. Combined with some "mental alteration" prior to entering the tank, it should have a synergistic effect. Swim has been "stoned" the usual way in a floatation tank, and he simply fell asleep, wasting precious (and expensive) tank time. By the way, remember that although swiy can't properly sink in a floatation tank, swiy can still drown (swiy could roll over, face-first), and the use of floatation tanks under the influce of ANYTHING AT ALL could potentially be dangerous. That said, Swim's personal drug of choice before his hour in the tank would be DXM. The way DXM increases the brain's susceptibility to brainwave entrainment is a truly amazing aid when in a floatation tank, especially those which allow for white noise and/or binaural beats to be played into special headphones inside the tank (swim would definitely recommend this). Swim has incidentally had many interesting experiences in a floatation tank while totally sober, although if was just simply deep relaxation and meditation, without drugs. WITH drugs it was full-on altered states, which in all honestly was such a profound sensation! |

Re: Cannibis + Flotation Tank
Swim's used a float tank before and had cookies on that as well.. cant report on too much except for feeling like he was floating on a bed of clouds for a few moments on it.. it was pretty awesome.
but of course swim was hitting up the pot daily so didn't get a proper stone many of the times he went in one. Swim wouldn't mind doing it again and if swim was rich he'd even get one installed in his home- a full room sized one.. because its awesome to do YOGA postures in a float tank that can be done horizontally. The other issue is i just dont trust the public to be clean in those damn things.. everytime i get in one i wonder if its as greazy and slimy as a $1 peep show booth.... |
