WARNING To Users of DXM!

Maybe this shouldn't be posted cross-forum, but I think the "anti-tolerance" feature of DXM is not widely mentioned.

If SWIY is a regular user of any opiate, and has taken DXM recently, and never dosed on opiates AFTER a DXM dosage before (does that make sense?), then please please PLEASE reduce your dosage.

SWIM found out last night - 400mg of Codeine gave him a fairly powerful nod without DXM. He took DXM just under a month ago (900mg of the stuff, and 800mg 3 weeks before).
Well, SWIM took 400mg of Codeine last night...

It was a truly frightening experience! Something he thought he would never say about such a friendly-feeling drug as Codeine. He says he was seriously struggling to stay awake/alert, and felt that if he dozed off he wouldn't wake up. Which, without dramaticising it, could well be true (respiratory depression).

So, in summary: DXM can (not always, but often) DRAMATICALLY reduce one's tolerance to Opiates (it's also good for addiction but that's another story - one I'm not qualified to tell), so don't be surprised if half SWIY's normal opiate dosage gives them same effect after DXM use.

(could a mod/admin sorta edit this to explain it better, I haven't written in aaages and my english is rapidly going down hill)
