administration methods vs. citric acid?
swim has a few questions about adderall/citric acid
1) if swim is on adderall and downs a 16oz can of amp containing citric acid, are the effects of the adderall diminished very much? or will the caffeine possibly offset that effect and keep the experience enjoyable? (more enjoyable than the energy drink or adderall alone that is)
2) will the citric acid effect the adderall as much if it isn't eaten? what effect does citric acid have if the adderall is insufflated, or taken rectally for that matter?
anyway, he drank the amp hours after taking the adderall(insufflated) and he knew that by then it wouldn't make much of a difference, but he's not much of a biochemist and still wonders what the effects would be if the two were taken closer together. he would test it for himself but he doesn't want to waste any pills. all the browsing and searching he has done doesn't come up with the questions or answers he is looking for.
(swim doesn't want to get into a huge argument about energy drinks being ineffective, he has seen the energy drink thread. he doesn't take in much caffeine anymore; he's on less than one can of pop a day (big step for swim), rarely ever drinks energy drinks, and hates coffee. not to mention the last time he took adderall and did a strikeout on a can of red bull he said the effects were quite enjoyable)
hope this was done correctly... first post..
ps: swim wouldn't normally even get a drink containing citric acid, but it's all that is available at the moment, and he is still curious of the effects even if he never does drink an acidic drink with adderall.
pps. he is a lightweight having started only a few weeks ago, but after taking 70mg throughout the day yesterday and drinking the amp more than two hours ago he is still full of energy and feels like he could talk forever. he has been awake for almost 24 hours though, and only got about 4 hours of sleep last night. he still has a bunch of homework to catch up on, and it's too late for him to even try to go to bed because the homework is due in the morning (it's morning already). i feel kind of sorry for him and what he may face in the near future... any suggestions? he's thinking he might take more adderall to get him through his homework and classes and just face the consequences later...
ppps. he doesn't need many "optimal drink" replies either.. he doesn't like to drink alcohol, and concludes that water is pretty great.. and, as was mentioned, he spent a good amount of time reading the energy drink thread, so he doesn't need a bunch of people telling him to drink redline etc!
thanks everyone for your time and input!
