Filtering

Hi i've noticed alot of info on the CWE states that you have to filter for up to an hour. I don't get this. I use Co-codamol(30/500) about 10 tablets. Once it's been well chilled i drop it through the filter and most of the liquid goes through. The filter stops dripping after about 2-3 minutes and i usually just refilter the paracetamol using the same method.
So why bother waiting so long if the paracetamol is just going to sit in the filter with no liquid coming through?
Also, how much water is best to use? Some say your best to use no more than 20ml, others say half a glass.

On another note does anyone on anti-depressants take codeine? I take 75mg of sertraline(a low dose) and i don't nearly get the same buzz of codeine as i got years ago. My last doze was 330mg of codeine and even then i didn't get much. Although i do find a few beers helps boost the high(or what of it).

Paracetamol products usually filter faster then ibuprofen ones, and swiy is using only a few pills so the process would be quicker, its usually pretty obvious when no more liquid is gonna filter through, 1hr would be the absolute maximum time imho, my ferret never really needs more then 20min.

My ferret usually uses 2-3 ml water per pill
