Dose - Temazepam Dosing for psychedelic freakout

I have a few orange gel caps that are 15mg of temazepam. I'm wondering if this is a high, medium or low dosage? I intend to keep them around just in case someone gets too freaked out on a psychedelic and/or phenethylamine (we've been doing a bit of combining lately, particularly 2ci and MDMA, would this combo be particularly dangerous to try and calm with a Benzo?). Does anyone know if15mg oftemazepamis an appropriate dosage in this sort of situation?Thanks for your help.

start with the 30 mg if bringing someone out of a bad trip/freakout but
for just shits and giggles start with 15 and work up. i have to say

60mg is a fine amount to take with a can of beer no more than one can though. it will make you feel drowsey chilled and happy. you may get sleepy aswell.

15 mg is an avrige does i take 20mg every night to get to sleep in pills though. and if i want to get mashed i will take about 150-200mg but this is very high. you cant get the gel caps anymore in the uk i wish you could as jellys as there know hear are injectable but this not advisable as it can cause gang green and lose of limbs ect i think thats why they banned them.

Swim recently acquired 2 very small pills each containing 10mg temazepam. Apart from not-so-recent sedation for a gastroscopy (midazolam?) he has absolutely no history of useing bezos, hence no tolerance. He is very eager to try benzos and is interested to see how they compare to opiates.

Anyway, since he only has a small amount, he doesn't want to waste it and is interested in ideas on what to do with it to get the most out of them. In particular, is it better to take them both at once (I assume that 10mg is a pretty small dose)? And what is the best way to take them. Under the tongue? Snorting them? Swallowing on an empty stomach/full stomach? Rectally? etc...

hi mate, swiy should neck them both! tem is a good buzz, just suck em or swallow em... will give them a good buzz, relaxed, feel good feeling. make sure swiy to avoid alcohol and other suppressants as swiy has no tolerance to such cocktails... swiy - take care, have FUN!!

Thanks pal. Swim appreciates your help. Just one more question though.... for how long after trying temaz is it unafe for Swim to use an opiate? In other words, when does the tiredness of this benzo tend to wear off?

if memory serves me correctly, temazepam is active for 1-2 days.. after that you'll be fine... how much opiate and what type/method of injesting? i only ask cos if you get fucked off a bag IV, then i'd lower that just to be careful... benzo's and opiates really synergise!!!

Swit was considering using ~300mg of codeine the morning after, but thanks to your advice he has changed his mind. He wants to play it safe and not take stupid risks until he is more comfortable with benzos.

look, 20mg temazepam and 300mg codeine would be mild for swim and swim would do it, but with swiy tolerance to benzo's... just be careful.
i have to admit, i do think that would be fine (as long as 300mg codeine[hope theres no paracetamol in that that shit WILL kill ya!] only normally gives a very mild buzz) all done together... but err on the side of caution. always bruv.

If SWIM were to take temazepam, what dosage levels would be advised for differing levels of action? Additionally, would normal ingestion or sublingual application be more effective, if either would have an appreciable affect?

Sublingual absorbtion of benzodiaepines including Temazepam is more effective. SWIF has also had some experience insufflating benzodiazepines and while this isnt very healthy on the nose it definately has marked effects. SWIF experience and knowledge would suggest insufflation is most effective shortly followed by sublingual and then oral. It's important to note though that temazepam although euphoric SWIF found more sedating. The more anxiety related benzo's tend to have a better "high" as such.

20-40 mg is the reccommeneded medical dosage of temazepam and it has effects at this level. Recreationally SWIF rarely would go above 60 mg although it isnt particularly dangerous to do so as the LD50 for benzodiazepines is high.

It's important to note however benzodiazepine withdrawal is very harsh and can actually kill a person, sure let SWIY have some fun but dont make it a habit!

hi all
swim has a bottle of tamazepam that has 4 left in it. they are 10mg ones.
it did have 5 in it, swim took one about a month ago, and fell asleep, was very difficult to stay awake, but it was night time.

anyway swims wondering if you can feel anything other then sleepy on this stuff.
like if swim took 2 or more would you feel high or somthing, or would swim just fall asleep drooling on the floor.
wondering if swim takes them now (9am) will she be able to go out to dinner with family at 8pm and be ok?

swim thinks vallium is better for recreation but swim dosnt have any of that.

what you think?

also swim has some amitripaline, what is this stuff and does it have recreational value, sorry if this is wrong thread.
but swim takes one tablet, feels really sleepy, then feels really unmotivated and zombie like for the whole day after...

Please UTFSE: There are many threads talking about the effects people get from benzodiazepines (other than sedation), the flamingo herself has written many posts on this.

Amitryptiline is a tricyclic anti depressant, it is also sometimes used as a sleep aid, and in neuropathic pain.

It has no recreational potential at all (unless dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision and urinary retention are your thing!)
