Does anyone else ever have a side effect during the comedown phase of glass where you have a harder time breathing? I am scared to go to sleep cuz of it? I know I have had some problems with asthma in the past but it never did me like this before on glass and my boyfriend also was saying he was having liek a shortness of breath. Also my heart was racing and I would keep dozing to sleep then get kinda shaky and wake back up. I think I am gonna be fine I mean it's been since 5 a.m. that I last did any bumps and now its 11 p.m. so if something bad was going to happen, would it have happend by now? I know I sound so paranoid but I wont be able to sleep till I know I am not going to choke to death. Thanks

Breathing difficulties are pretty common with speed. Swim had asthma-like symptoms and high anxiety for about 4 + months after a particularly long and messy binge a few years ago, bad enough to be able to blag an inhaler from the doc. Luckily it passed after a few months of abstinence.

Your heart and lungs are very closely linked, so anything that puts a strain on your heart(i.e. a stimulant like speed) will have an effect on your breathing too. It'll pass, but you may want to think about cutting down or having a break for a while, especially if you've suffered with asthma in the past.

Were you smoking? Next time try snorting it instead, it would be a little easier on your lungs. Listen to mickle, I think you'll be ok. But if you are using regularlly an inhaler might not be a bad thing to keep around. Some of my friends who use meth have asthma problems, i'm not sure if it is from the meth or they had asthma before, but they have inhalers around in case they get short of breath. -K
