NaNoWriMo
..also called National Novel Writing Month. I can't link to the site because they have forums, but it should be pretty easy to find.
The organization declares every November to be National Novel Writing Month and encourages people who otherwise wouldn't bother to set aside some time in November to write a 50,000 word novel. Perhaps it's a little late to mention this here, but out of curiosity, is anyone else participating? Or does anyone else simply do creative writing for pleasure or work?
