Dodgy Heroin?

Has anyone heard anything about some dodgy gear that's going about in the UK? I was just at my doctors getting my monthly prescriptions and as usual he asks if i have used and i will answer truthfully (could be yes, could be no, depends obviously).

Anyway, he said something about getting an alert because there has been some dodgy heroin going about, i didn't get much information, only that some people were left unconscious and some people had a 'bad reaction', whatever that means. He also mentioned something about a red 'pigment' in the heroin, i asked if it was in the actual powder, but it seems he meant when it was melted on the foil. I have seen reddish heroin (on the foil) many a time, but i can only imagine he means really red not brownish red. He also said the red 'pigment' had been identified but never said what it was, and he mentioned 'they' didn't know what was causing the 'bad reaction'. Oh, and he also mentioned South Hampton, i imagine he means it's coming from South Hampton up to Scotland (where i am).

What he means by 'bad reaction' i do not know, he said people were left unconscious, so maybe that's what he means. I am wondering if anyone here has heard anything about this? My doctor isn't one for trying scare tactics on me, i am sure he is only telling me what he has been told.
