Inhaling - Why not straight out of the can?

I have seen many people on these forums saying that SWIT uses balloons when they have a regular can of whip cream.

SWIM has taken hits straight from the can and admits that a cartridge and balloon would have been better but can't see any bad side effects from inhaling straight from the whip cream can.

So what are the adverse effects, if any, by inhaling straight from a whip cream can (not the cartridges.)

Also SWIM is curious as to why cartridges are better then whip cream cans.

The risks of inhaling straight from whipped cream cans shouldn't be too high, as the release of the gas is controlled in whipped cream cans. Balloons are generally more convenient.

They are generally cheaper and are a more sophisticated way of doing nitrous (besides using medical N2O through a breathing mask).

swim recommends sealing up a bin bag and having a piece of hosepipe coming out of it.
then filling it with 8-10 whippets of no2. swim likes this method because no chance of losing too much gas when you pass out a little from too much no2. (well, too much co2)

This would not happen using a whipped cream can, which is what he is talking about. Not inhaling straight from the charger.

ahhh, misread.

pretty sure that inhaling and exhaling repeatedly has an added effect (loss of oxygen) to the brain, and the retraction of the rubber pushing it deeper into the lungs wud defiantly help.

but if no balloons to hand then why not, will just have less of an effect.

dont use cream chargers anyway, medical grade only, lots stronger.

For one, SWIY can exhale back into the balloon and sort of recycle the nitrous.

When one does it straight out of the can, be sure one doesn't hear any liquid anymore in the can. -Shake it- Also don't hold it upside down. There is a change one get liquid in his mouth. This will expand in your mouth and/or longs. The energy of this expansion is your body warmth. Freeze burn is the result. Cool thing about a can + balloon, one can do a basic filtering, because food grade has some oil in it. Not healthy when one empties 150 chargers.

There is 2 different chargers, one which SWIY can do that and one that SWIY cant. 1 Of them contain a separate chamber which cools it down so SWIY don't inhale 100 degrees cold n2o.
There is no problem what so ever to take directly from the charger if you got the right one, SWIM have done it a million times, SWIY just have to feel the trigger so SWIY dont press too hard and explode SWIY´s lungs

Can SWIM use a balloon and a normal whipped cream can, holding the balloon to the nozzle? Then he would inhale from the balloon.
Would this be risky in any way and/or produce strong nitrous effects?

Performing that method does work, but SWIM found he only got about 6g (less than 1 normal whippet) of nitrous out of a can of prewhipped pressurised cream. So effects would be comparable to 1 whippet of nitrous.
Unless SWIY is carefull they will get some cream in tha balloon too. be very very carefull NOT to shake the can first.

WTF what is this talk of using whipped cream cans. Why would you even THINK of doing this? So expensive and you would only get a tiny amount out of each one.

The ONLY way to do NO2 (unless you have access to medical grade) is from the NO2 chargers and whippers used for whipping your own cream. Using supermarket whipped cream canisters is just ridiculous!

SWIM would think of doing this because they don't carry NO2 chargers in his local stores. Cans are expensive, but less suspicious [and more convenient] for SWIMself.

^^ true... but at least in the UK most SWIYs can only get the cream chargers by buying them over the internet or from sex or legal highs shops. From the internet SWIYs needs a delivery address which for some SWIYs can be difficult as recieving chargers to it may cause unwanted questions or attention.
Most SWIYs on the otherhand will shop at supermarkets and popping a can of whipped cream in the basket or trolly raises no suspicion, and is simple and easy.

EDIT-SWIM would agree though, that buying chargers over the internet if SWIY is able is alot cheaper andmore efficient. It also saves that horrible instance where SWIYs nitrous trip is bought to an abrupt end by being covered in an explosion of cream

UTFSE, this has been discussed before
But if you have a can just let the cream settle to the bottom and have the nozzle pointing straight up. place your mouth over the nozzle, press it slightly and all the NOS should spray right out and the cream will stay at the bottom. stop pressing the nozzle when you can tell the cream is about to shoot out and enjoy.

There was other info about this here, but none of the search results titles seemed highly relevent tbh. If SWIY is not going to use a balloon work it so the gas sprays onto their tongue first before going down their throte so they dont end up inhaling cream by mistake. better still gett 2 balloons, hld 1 over the top and inflate, if cream comes out no worrys take the balloon off keeping it sealed and shake like hell to knock the gas out of the cream and form a lump of cream, then carefully inhale, and exhale into the other clean (non creamy) balloon for use.
SWIM has one this successfully, but be very carefull not to burst the creamy balloon if SWIY wants to stay clean. Using this method saves SWIY from spraying cream down their neck or messing up quite as easily.

Order cartridges online for cheap or ask the local head shops, they carry them behind the counter but swim has heard sometimes they don't let you buy balloons and cartridges together.

buy your own whip-cream maker it is better then having your own pipe.

Buy a bag of punching bag balloons to save money, buy cartridges or anything in quantity, they aren't watched items if swim is correct

Not at all. It is a highly cost-inefficient and "ghetto" (used as adjective) method, but it is neither dirty nor more harmful than N2O from cartridges.
