Starting a Cannabis Collective (Clinic) in Cali

I was thinking about starting a Cannabis Collective, or clinic, in Southern California. I have read over some things on ASA and NORML but there is no real indept documents on this.

I had a few questions, some of them being:

What are the necessary legal precedures for starting this?

Can this be pro-profit or does it have to be non-profit?

If it is non-profit, can a seperate part of the collective sell accessories (such as paraphanillia) for profit?

Where would I get the pharmaceuticals (aside from growing my own)?

What is the rate of robbery and burglary, statistically?

And anything else that would be of help.
