Different coloured pills

My friend wanted to ask about the colour of pills. He explained to me as he surfed a pill testing site that the ones in the USA are usually coloured - green, red, blue, yellow, etc. Whereas in Europe (and the UK in particular) they always seem to be white.

He asks why is this? And for further information, why and how are they coloured and what with?

Its true that you do get a much wider array of colours in the US for some reason, and the vast majority of pills in western europe are white (although you do get other colours aswell, just not as often). There is no real reson for this as far as swim can work out, other than cultural tastes, its reasonable to presume that possibly white pills just sell better in europe than coloured ones and therefore supply is just responding to demand, where as in america coloured pills probably equal or outstrip the sales of white pills and so manufacturers colour alot more of the pills destined for the North American market.

As far as what they are coloured with, well they are ecstacy pills so it could be absalutely anything, but its logical to presume that in most cases food colouring is used, as its cheap, readily available and benign.

SWIM highly doubts that there would be something "bad" cut with SWIY pill. It would be hard to say what the things may be only by color.. There is a plethora of possibilities.. SWIM would highly recommend a pill test if SWIY would truly like to know what is in his pills. Or even a E pill ID site.

If My Bill were SWIY he would seriously would invest in a Marquis set. They're inexpencive and totally legal. My Bill is getting one in the new year so this new years eve will be the last time he has untested (But reliable) pills. My Bill had some pine green ones with little cherries on and they had dark green spots, another time a red one and then his usual of white with different things on. Swiy just can't know unless swiy checks them out

In swim's experience, the ones WITH specks of anything in them are the best. Swim hasn't particularly enjoyed one's without. But this is just in Swim's experiences.

SWIM has learnt that specs don't officially mean anything, but once was told by a friend that brown specks - MDMA, so the specklier the better. grey specks - ketamine. which may seem right swim guesses based on the colour of their pure ish forms. but then anything can be dyed can't it.

Come to think of it, what are the colours in ecstacy pills? Basic food colorings? Ground up colored chalk? :P

To make MDMA into pills you need binders... "specks" are no measure of purity and neither is color.

The only correlation that exists (although this is NOT causation) is that bigger (and heavier) pills tend to be fake (http://www.ecstasydata.org/ sort by size and go through it is pretty impressive)

There is absoultely no way to judge how good the pill is without a tester.

Blue Barcardi Bats get a good rep, some shitty chemist takes note and make identical pills with more adulterants.
