hydrocodone expired??

today i found 15 hydrocodones in 2 bottles but i think they were both expired. i think one bottle expired in like 2003 and the second in 2002. are they still cool to take? and if they are how many should i take at once?

i dont know anything bout pills so i cant say wat size they are or anything like that but ill post pics in a little bit.

These are safe to take, if you have a prescription. If you do not have a script, ingesting these drugs is illegal and can get you in a lot of trouble, so I would definately NOT do this. Particularly, posting intentions to do illegal activities on the web is a bad idea...this is information that is in writing, for the whole world to see, and could be being archive by LE as we speak.

How much one should take depends on the amount of opiate in the pill..the bottle should say something like hydrocodone 10/500...swiy needs to pay attention to the first number. This tells the amount of opiate in each pill. If the label is illegible, one will have to figure out the dose based on the imprint code...but asking people to identify what exactly these pills are is looked down upon on this forum.

Swim believes it is required by law in the US that all drugs, regardless of their actual chemical shelf-life, be considered "expired" after 1 year's time or so. Swim's experience with hydrocodone was favorable: a whole manufacturer's bottle was found from the mid 80's and proved worth-while. There should be no problems. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL DRUGS! For example, taking tetracycline after the exp. date could severely harm, if not kill you!
