Smoking - Help with smoking Fent?

Any help my way would be so appreciated!
Here's the deal.....
Swim has chronic back pain....
FIRST--
4 (1every 4 hours) of 10/325 perc would have swim feeling wonderful all day long!!!! @ a year.
THEN--
Then went to MSIR morphine, 10mg, sometime would take 3-4, euphoria, then no euphoria. 3 months
NOW.....
50mcg patch every 48 hours. 3 months/ 3 10/325 percs for breakthrough /3 months.
What? now, no euphoria from patch, (well, maybe 4 hours) takes more than 10 hours to get there.
NO relief or euphoria from percs,

WHAT IS GOING ON?????? NO RELIEF OR EUPHORIA!!!!!!

Swim is embarrased but I WANT TO FEEL GOOD!!!!





Today, nothing!!! Even added a little more each time

What is wrong with SWIM!!!!

That sucks dude. Tolerance is a bitch. Swim's best bet would be to go without opes for a while but he is in for one hell of a fucking ride and may need a good doctor to help him get through it.

Unfortunately, this is a common problem with chronic pain patients who occasionally use their meds for recreational purposes.

yes as said above... go without opioids. swim knows, its a scary thought. but its the only way swiy is going to feel like he did before unless he takes massive amounts of painkillers which is not for the better it will just get you into trouble (taking more than perscribed then running out and withdrawal and things like that).

Due to his experience with opiate addiction, SWIM doesn't condone excessive use of opioids. Fentanyl is an especially potent drug. It was one of SWIM's favorites.

However, there is a method you apparently haven't tried; it was SWIM's preferred means of ingestion when he had patches with resevoirs.

This won't be possible if the patches you have are the "matrix system" patches.

1) cut an edge off of the patch, so that SWIY can squeeze the gel out.
2) In small amounts, squeeze the gel on to a metal surface (e.g. a spoon) consists mostly of alcohol.
3)The alcohol evaporates relatively quickly, leaving little white-ish spots on your surface. This is essentially free-base fentanyl. Once it's completely dried, scrape off a small amount, like the size of a match head. I'm pretty sure I used a toothpick to do this. It's best not to touch the stuff.
4)Take the filter off a cigarette, and put your fentanyl on the end of the cigarette - be sure to place it so that it doesn't fall off, any old breeze could do this.
5)With the cigarette pointed upwards, supporting your fentanyl on the tip, light and inhale as your normally would.
6)The effect is overwhelming and is felt as soon as SWIY exhales. SWIY might want to hold the smoke in for a few seconds, for assurance.

SWIM had some extremely pleasant experiences doing this on his back porch. He always smoked it on his lawn chair, and he fell asleep there often.

Swim will try this. Question, did you go off opiates for a while? if so, how long should swim go off to get the same effects, especially pain relief?

A stubborn tolerance for Codeine in swims 6 year off/on (mostly on) opiate affair is constantly building and goes something like this:

1 week off - barely noticeable effects from usual dose
1.5 - 2 weeks off - tolerance is noticeably decreased and effects are much more pronounced (essentially his half way point)
3 weeks off - normal dose would be very unsafe at this point as tolerance is almost gone.

Then here is when it gets complicated. At the 3 week point tolerance is almost nil, yet it builds back up incredibly fast. But if another week or 2 is taken off then it takes considerably longer for tolerance to catch up.

However with swim being on the opposite end of the opiate scale to swiy (codeine being very weak and fent being very strong) I would be very careful as accidently overdosing on codeine would be quite hard where as with fentynl a tolerant dose in a non tolerant person has been reported more lethal than heroine.
