Smoking Bugs

Last week SWIM found some very small white bugs in a weed SWIM has been smoking, they are very small and hard to notice but swim could have smoked bugs in weed. SWIM is worried it could have been harmful in some way. He didn't notice anything different in taste-buzz and he is not sure if the whole plant was infected...

Any thoughts?

Re: Smoking Bugs

My ferret doesn't think it would be harmful. He hasn't ever experienced anything like this with cannabis, but has experience with pests in cigars. I guess there could be similarities between the two cases. With tobacco pests there is no harm in smoking them really.

Maybe Cakes or someone from the growing forum can speculate as to what exactly the pest could be?

Maybe you could share exactly what the pests looked like? Number of legs? Body segments? ect. Could help with identification!

Re: Smoking Bugs

Sounds like spider-mite infestation. If they burn it might ward off harmful things, but JOHNNYD doesn't know for sure. The reason JOHHNYD doesn't know for sure of the harm is because mites are known to pick up different things of whatever it comes into contact with, but the thing is with this is that they probably only have lived on the plant. JOHNNYD knows if they bite you however that's a different story.
