Question on oxycontin dosing

Swim is coming into a few oxys soon and was wondering what a safe dosage is? Swim has naturally higher tolerance than most and has used hydrocodone as high as 40mg at a time and felt fine.

if one could do 40mg hydro fine...40mg oxy should be okay too and sounds reasonable to me for swiy. What strength are the oxys?

Swim would probably crush them up and destroy the XR mechanism.

by fine do u mean u got fucked-up fine or didnt feel it at all off 40mg hydro?

When i started doin oxy's i was eating percocet like 6-8 5mg pills at a time, but if ur talking like oxy 80's then u gotta snort it, and id start with like 20-30 mg.... even after like a few days of eating percocet like a fiend, i blew half an 80 for the first time and was dipping out at the wheel

this is my mistake, just started here, but i do believe that these drugs are legal with a prescription, for it to be incriminating it would have to be assumed that i did not have a prescription which i did

this said i do understand where you're coming from and will rephrase in the future.... thanks

^^You make a good point...please say something like "when I got a script for this drug I experienced..."
Actually it is probably a good idea to have some posts on this site admitting that you are posting your experience, but you obtained this experience legally, this makes the swim argument much more likely.

Also...from the thread it makes it seem like swiy snorted it. I am not sure but think prescription drugs must also be taken in the way they are prescribed for it to be legal...I have a hard time believing that if someone were shooting up oxy and were approached by the police, they would simply leave him alone if he showed his script.

^^The man is right. Having a prescription is only half the battle.. using as prescribed is the other.

Onto your first question...

I would have to say that 40mg of oxy would suffice. SWIM started out opposite of you... doing OC80's intially, now swim got off of that.. and does around 40mg of hydro a day. OR, just chunk it into 4ths.. do a 20.. feel it out.. see how you feel. If you think you can handle more.. do so in 10mg doses. Thats the easiest and safest way I can think of.
