Dry bong made from cd spindle.

Swim was browsing the cannabis paraphernalia forum looking for something he could make to smoke out of. Came across some good ideas but nothing new. swims favorites are the lightbulb vaporizers and the waterfalls but tonight he wanted something different. so swim took a look around his room and saw a cd spindle (the bigger ones, it probably contained 250 cds but swim couldnt say for sure). swim figured he could make some kind of dry bong out of it, considering that their were little slits in the bottom of the base which swim didnt feel like making watertight (or maybe he didnt trust himself making them watertight). so he vouched for no water. anyhow swim'll now describe his new creation's process of construction.

Materials:
one socket (swim used 5/16 but whatever size you want really)
electrical tape
super glue
empty cd spindle

1. first swim cut the cylindrical tube off at the base and cut the top end off as to make both ends open.

2. Next, swim took the top of the spindle (clear part) and poke three holes in it. one on the very top for the socket to fit, one on a side (large enough for the tube to fit in, and one on the opposite side of the one for the tube, slightly smaller for use as a choke.

3. then swim put a layer of super glue all around the base where the lid (clear part) meets the base and sealed them together.

4. this part is kind of optional, but swim used electrical tape to then further seal the two together to prevent any air seepage.

5. next swim took the cylindrical tube and inserted into the appropriate hole he cut on the side and sealed it with super glue to, once again, prevent seepage.

6. next swim placed a screen in the socket and placed the socket snugly on top where he cut the hole for it.

7. optionally you can seal the socket in there with super glue but swim found if you make the hole a bit smaller then it fits in there tight without trouble.

8. place ganj in socket and enjoy. use choke as you would any other choke on a pipe or bong.

swim found this to work perfectly. also he feels that it conserves weed a bit because theres no smoke let off as everything is trapped in the device.
