Are all kratom extracts this bad???

I just ordered 10 grams of kratom extract and boiled it in a good bit of water. All I can say is BLAHH!!! This stuff has the worst taste, very similar to that of ayahuasca or syrian rue. I'm 20 minutes into the buzz though and I do have a nice body buzz goin. What is this shit extracted with???

you should add the word taste into your thread title,kratom normally has a bad taste,swif just slams it down all at once

Swim has heard of a new extract called "Alasse' Coia". Supposedly its 100 times better than the other extracts available out there.

Most extractions are done with ethanol. Mitragynine is soluble in alcohol.

SWIM personally loves a gram to two of full spectrum extract.

SWIM must say that Kratom is VERY bareable in taste when compared to poppy tea (something that can make you gag at the mere thought of taking it)

SWIM disagrees, and finds the vomit-like taste of poppy tea to be preferable to the earwax-like taste of kratom.
Swim's secret to masking the foul bitter taste of kratom is to mix it with coffee. Coffee really helps cover the bitterness of kratom, especially if swiy spreads a dose out over a few cups. This may be the only good use for decaf, in swim's opinion, for those who don't want to caffeine to conflict with kratom's sedating effects.

Weird huh ? SWIM finds he can easily drink a cup of Kratom tea, tastes much like a bitter coffee to SWIM. However just looking at poppy tea (and SWIM has taken many many cups of it) can bring on the gag reflex.
1 thing to do, whichever tastes worse, hold your nose and dont let go until youve tasted something more pleasent this really reduces any bad taste
