Summary of substances

Swim is intrigued about all the possible substances that can be found in pills. He typed a quick summary of what he thinks, and what he has tried to find out.

MDMA - Methylenedioxymethamphetamine - what everyone is seeking, the substance that makes you feel excellent - v good

MDA - Methylenedioxyamphetamine - not as intense as MDMA, still makes you feel good, slightly dissociative - good

MDEA - 3,4-methylenedioxy-N-ethylamphetamine - similar to MDA, not as intense as MDMA but has some good effects - good

Meth - Methamphetamine - makes you gurn, makes you clench your teeth, makes ya mouth really dry, - not good

DXM - Dextromethorphan - dissociative like MDA but not as nice, can easily give Swiy a horrible trip - medium

DOM - 2,5-Dimethoxy-4-methylamphetamine - dissociative like DXM - medium

DOB - 2,5-Dimethoxy-4-bromoamphetamine - dissociative like DXM - medium

PMA - paramethoxyamphetamine, p-methoxyamphetamine or 4-methoxyamphetamine - really nasty - bad

He would appreciate any feedback or opinions from Swiy to help his research. He would like to know if he is wrong anywhere.

Swim believes that DOM and DOB are Phenethylamines, not Dissociatives. MDA is also supposed to be somewhat psychedelic. Both are marked by somewhat long, intense trips, sometimes lasting as long as 12-15 hours, and visual and/or auditory hallucinations.

MDMA is an empathogen, and swim thinks that MDA is a psychedelic empathogen.

Another common substance that may be found is 2c-b. It is a Phenethylamine with generally shorter duration than DOx's.

Please keep in mind that though this is an interesting thread, it should not be used to definitively identify the contents of one's pill. If unsure, buy a pill testing kit.

SWIM had some MDA pills not long ago, which were absolutely fantastic! Just as good as MDMA if not better. Lasted much longer and was very intense.

Swim thanks you so far, for the replies. Swim agrees with not using this to identify your pills, he is merely trying to understand more about the content. Swim is looking into buying a testing kit and wants to be more knowledged about which substances are good, and which aren't so good.

I could see this being a potentially good idea. While speculating whats in pills is pointless, having a list of potential adulterants so that people can see the possibilities is a good idea! We might not have to hear about "heroin pills" anymore!
