Re: so what have you learned?

SWIM has gained experience quickly in life because of drugs, among other things. His experience with drugs has definately helped him see things in different perspectives, which he believes is key to discovering things.

Re: so what have you learned?

Drugs are definitely a way of discovering life. They're just another way to experience being in a different state of mind and feeling how nothing else can make you feel. At the end of the day, they're just another substance out there, except they aren't as obtainable as others (alcohol, tabacco).

Just more manageable in general. psilocybin is a gr8 teacher for swia as well as mescaline and her daily smoke of green, the rest is just maintenance. for her anyway...

Drink is evil and lovely at the same time...

Re: so what have you learned?

When one begins to gain life-changing experiences and starts learning lessons from drug use, one start down on the spiral of addiction, it becomes a spiritual addiction, it corrupts ones soul, and corrupts ones mind... sends one into an obtuse tangent that gradiates away from society.

^SWIM has learnt that this is true, but in the greatest way possible: SWIM has learnt that the mind is incoprehensable, yet the individual can read their own and learn about how the universe works, but cannot apply that to the false reality that we exist in.

SWIM has learnt, that no matter what one learns on drugs, these ideas and often life changing moments, do not matter whatsoever in a world where the use mind opening key's are condemed.

SWIM has learnt, that everything you hear or know, is a lie... Truth exists within, not without...

This can be true, it just depends on one's mind set.

swim would totally dissagree, and he doesn't see how one could take a psychedelic and later on in life, not relate something he learnt from the experience to reality.
If the experience was a self-centered waste of time, then that will affect your personality later on. But either way: you'll make some reference from a psychedelic journey to "reality" (not-tripping).

for swim, marijuana has been the best drug by far, without any consequences it taught him to relax in life and have fun.

took swim a while to respect psychedelics, but once he did he learnt a greater deal of respecting others.

^^ exactly...

depends on the person, and SWIM tries not to apply what he has learnt from tripping to the outside world as it simply doesnt work out... The reality SWIM enters is one of perfection, where everything, good or bad, flows together so fluently... But this doesnt work in society, as there are many many factors that work against this...

This is what SWIM was trying to say through me...

AND besides, as you said It depends on ones mind set

Re: so what have you learned?

For SWIM, it has always been hard for him to say exactly what he has learned; he knows hes learned something but cannot put into words exactly what it is.

SWIM would agree with this; they definitely taught him to be open minded and look at things from all different kinds of angles.

SWIM finds it interesting that many people seem to learn from marijuana in such a way; it has never been very significant to SWIM, just a way to kill boredom perhaps. Does anyone else feel this way about marijuana?
