What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

SWIM recently introduced nitrous to two much older drug users, one enjoyed it very much, and was able to use it succesfully by the tested balloon method, but the other found himself unable to reinflate/blow up the balloon.

Does anyone know if easy inflate balloons exist? or of other options that could allow this individual to enjoy nitrous?
thanks

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

if swiy find a ritzy whipped cream maker with cartridges, they sell them in a lot of respectable food supplies stores. More or less they have a little place to screw the nitrous cartridge in and instead of putting in the rest of the whipped cream making supplies one can just hold down the handle and suck down some nitrous. They are very convenient, cheap and easy to use.

SWIM does straight from a large canister myself. SWIM is aware of the dangers, the best is a slow constant stream, a fast stream can be a hazard

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

SWIM is NOT interested in options, that involve inhaling direct from the cream maker or whippet/nang/cylinder itself, as there is no potential for recycling the nitrous and the potential downsides of such methods far outweigh any good sides of the high

Red face Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

lmao, to SWIMs great embaressment he must admit he has tried that, he found out a number of things.
1) they taste nasty (dont need any jokes about, should have bought flavours)
2) they tend to burst alot when inflated deflated 2 or three times.
3) they are extreamly difficult to reinflate because of the neck size, lubrication, thinness of ring.

the hunger for nitrous is an evil thing, SWIM dont think ill be looking people on the forum in th face for a while now.

Geez, what your saying is that N2o can be re-used? when it is exhaled then doesn't have carbon dioxide now mixed in with it?

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

Yes, SWIY is right, what is initially inhaled from a freash balloon is pure N2o,
what is exhaled is a mixture of N2o, Co2, water vapour etc,
But by inhaling from the balloon again, the n20 that is left has the chance to pass through the lung lining into SWIYs blood.
There is a point at which inhaling the gas from the balloon any further would be pointless but finding out exactly when this is would be difficult. Of course the uptake of n2o into the body depends on lung capacity and how well the lungs are functioning,

SWIM would almost rather not even use nitrous than have to use a balloon. Whip cream dispensers allow for a far superior experience.

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

SWIMs first reaction SWImiles is, No your wrong. SWIMs second is -explain how you are right?

the first inhalation from the balloon, gets exactly the same purity and same amount of nitrous into you as inhaling direct from the cream dispenser, just with far reduced dangers.

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

the only foreseeable danger is if your an idiot and don't understand the physics of pressure. Also with cream whippers multiple canisters can be loaded in at once, allowing u to go and go, however be careful as too many and it may not like u. A friend of SWIMs loaded 5 in one then chucked it in hot water as he thought it was empty, and heating a cream whipper allows it to operate more efficient as the expanding gas cools the nosilator during use. The result was complete explosion, luckily he was out the room, but it shattered his sink, blew a hole in the ceiling and shattered shatterproof glass. So i guess there are dangers, but they're easily avoidable.

SWIM would like to add a second
another foreseeable danger is if your on nitrous and don't understand the physics of pressure because you are intoxicated and all you care about is more nos.
maybe people who do an odd cap here and there, can get away with no balloons but having a decent nos night needs balloons, without balloons SWIM would be seriously injured today, likely missing parts of his face and still trying to thaw out the length of his throat.

Back to the Question SWIM is seeking something like a balloon that is easy to inflate,
answers to this question would be much appreciated but should not include "just do it straight from the cracker/cream maker" " don't use balloons man , that methods rubbish" etc

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

you just need to practice to get better at doing it out of a balloon.
just tell them to practice with a balloon full of air.

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

thanks ^^ thats the second possibly useful reply SWIM got to this thread... On the night we found that the individual couldn't reinflate the balloons, we tried blowing up balloons with air till they almost popped, so sas to slacken them off as much as possible, but the guy with bad lungs stil couldnt manage it. He tried after his first failure with the nos to simply blow a balloon up, but found he just couldnt do it... It seems he felt like somthng within his ear would pop, but not somthing that aught to pop naturally lol.
thanks anyway

Nope, breathe in and out of a balloon for say 15 seconds, then stick an empty cap in the balloon so now air can escape, to seal it up, and leave it lying around. Then do the same but only breathe for 10 seconds, and again for 25 seconds or whatever. (Do this when not on any other chemicals so you can sober up as quickly as possible) Then sober up and come back and do one of the balloons to see if it gets SWIY high, compare the different balloons and how long you breathed into each one. SWIM has done this, he's found that by about 30 seconds, it's not really worth it anymore, and is better to go onto a new cap.

So (if SWIM's calculations are right): breathing in and out of a balloon for 30 seconds, and then starting a new one for 30 seconds and doing this 4 times will get something like 3-4 times more nos into SWIY's system than breathing in and out of 1 balloon for 2 minutes.

SWIM tried this while sober, and got mad silvery diamonds and triangles all over his bedroom wall, not as good as he's got before while on ecstacy/dope or dxm, but certainly higher than he can ever get whithout any other chemicals. SWIM is going to test out his theory this evening with 450mg of DXM.

Do not fuck with Henry Rollins, he will twat SWIY in the head.

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

why not use disposable latex glove's instead of a ballon they are a bit tricky at first but once u get the technique down they are better than using ballons, they can hold more gas and less pops & they look funny

Maybe mylar foil balloons might work. These are not elastic like regular latex balloons, so they won't be as difficult to re-inflate. But it may be necessary to suck the gas out or squeeze the balloon when inhaling as there won't be as much pressure.

SWIM hasn't tried these, but thinks they should work.

Re: What can be used instead of a balloon for nitrous?

SWIM does not see the rule infringement? hope theres not a new rule he has not noticed thats gonna get him in trouble for answering lol.

As far as SWIM is aware nitrous does not damage the lungs if inhaled at a reasonable temperature, and if the nitrous inhaled is of a reasonable grade (Not automotive grade.)
The individual is well experienced in a wide variety of drugs, and interested in nitrous, and chose to try it. SWIM says bad lungs because he does not know the exact problem... It seems the individual fears/finds difficult causing pressure in the lungs, throat and mouth, used to inflate a balloon... if SWIM remembers correctly he previously damaged something in his ear to do with pressure... this may have something to do with it.

feel free to ask SWIM any question, He is not shy (on here lol), no need to be sorry.

how 'bout a large garbage bag filled with, say, 4oz tap water, and a heaping tablespoon baking soda, so 1 can shake it all around and remove any of the small amts of H2S.

nitrous from chargers is catering grade and should contain no stenching agents. But would the method you describe remove hydrogen sulphide? and are other stenching agents used or is that the only one... going a bit off topic here.. but?

Fucking around with automotive grade is generally not recommended. But there are some old threads on the topic, look them up if interested on how this works in theory.

swim has discovered a much finer experience than dispensers. swim rigged a balloon dispenser to an old soviet gasmask. he fitted the balloon dispenser to one of the filtered inlets so therefore if swim gets too fucked up and becomes unable to crack any more he can simply just inhale and clean filtered air comes in through the other filter. so simply: when swiys havent got any more nitrous left in the charger/mask, it lets air in instead. another upside of this setup is that the nitrous is filtered and so therefore swim does not get any of that greasy yucky oily stuff in his lungs. if you would like i can post pics and a tek on making one.
