Liquid solution for RC
Swim just recently bought a half gram of 2-CE.
Swim can get a scale and knows that it clearly states in the RC guidelines he should use it. but swim has heard of mixing RC's into a liquid base and dissolving it to make a liquid administration that is measured via dilution of RC to liquid how would swim go about doing this with 2-CE? any help would be good

Re: Liquid solution for RC
Putting 500mg of 2C-E into 500 ml of distilled water and shaking until fully dissolved is the traditional method. That way there is 1 mg/mL making measuring a dose pretty easy. But be warned, vendors have been known to send the wrong amount of a powder. Without a scale, how can SWIY verify that they have 500mg of powder? It could be as much as 750mg which for 2C-E could lead to some unpleasant overdoses.
You should also look into using the search engine, there are many topics about this. |

Re: Liquid solution for RC
I will do that method and first weigh out what is sent to me
liquid administration is just preferred with me... where can i get a small syringe for the ML's without arousing questions? |

liquid measurement questions
Ok so SWIM was lucky enough to receive 500mg of 2c-i (after many months of waiting for backorders to go through) but is without a scale accurate to .001g. Obviously eyeballing is out of the question, so SWIM is thinking of liquid measurement - the details of which are all over this forum, he knows, but SWIM still needs to verify the original amount. Local headshops sell scales accurate to .01g, so if SWIM measured out 100mg to be dissolved in water he would only be off +/- 10mg. So for a 20 mg dose he may be getting 18-22mg, (he doesn't intend to start that high mind you).
So 2 questions: Has SWIM done the math right on all this, and how dicey are scales bought from headshops - should he be looking in jewelry stores instead? (for now, ordering online is not an option) |

Re: liquid measurement questions
I would hardly call "local headshops" a source. I wasn't asking where i can buy one. And i did use the search, maybe i'm not looking hard enough but i couldn't find anything pertaining to the use of .01g scales to measure bulk dosages.

Re: liquid measurement questions
it's been discussed before, by measuring 100mg on a 0.01g scale you'll end up with a 10% error ratio if swim's not mistaken. so lets say swiy wants a 20mg dose... it could be any where from 22-18mgs (reasonably) swim would find someone with an accurate scale but considering the chemical being used is 2c-i swiy shouldn't have much problem with a little dosing error of 2-4mg just try a 10 or 15mg dose and see how it works and move up till you're comfortable with how the dosages worked out without a precision scale.
sorry about the brevity of the last post swim made... he didn't read it thoroughly. (not giving dangerous advice... just telling what swim would do if he was in this persons shoes)

Re: liquid measurement questions
the dilution of 2c-i into a liquid is only really viable at a high concentration of 500mg-250ml of water or less... it can be measured in drops but the overall measurement is much higher.

Re: liquid measurement questions
because 20mg fitting into one drop is not possible
swiy can't fit 20mg of crystals in one drop sorry if swiy is looking for one to do that with look towards DOx's and 5meo-AMT. swim isn't going into the logistics of why it wouldn't work with 2c-i because it's just common sense |

Re: liquid measurement questions
Thanks for the reply
. This seems like a good solution until SWIM can find a .001g scale at some point in the future.
