Preparing green liquid methadone for injection

SWIM was thinking about filtering his methadone 1mg per 1ml mix for injection using a 0.2 micron (blue) wheel filter to remove impurities and bacteria. SWIM is on a 90mg script a day. Does any SWIM's know what would be a good starting dose? Also could SWIM boil the methadone liquid down so he doesn't need to inject so much water or would the filters remove most of the liquid gunk?

It's generally a bad idea to IV oral solutions, as they will contain stuff that's not safe to inject. A wheel filter will remove bacteria and solid particles, but won't remove anything that's dissolved in the solution.

Anyway, isn't methadone supposed to have a bio-availability of around 90%? If that's true (and it's only what I've heard), then there doesn't seem much point in shooting it.
