From a non-spiritual standpoint it may appear like he has gone too far. But what good is spending your life trying to discover out truth, and then not living it when you believe you have found it ? I think Ram Dass has shown true dedication to improving himself and helping other people around him.

Because everybody is entitled to the information he offers, when you see him giving a lecture in hawaii or somewhere likewise just remember at these lectures one is more likely to get recorded and posted on the internet (as these people can afford the technology) over the lectures he gives to the less fortunate. And lets be fair here, he has spent vast amounts of time in solitude meditating and in other not so glamorous area's, to assume he motives and methods arent pure is very hasty i think.

What I find revealing about people like Ram Dass is that he comes across that he has the answers for the pain and suffering of mankind. And that is fine. But if that is the case then why the hell does he give his seminars to rich people Maui and like high end new age "retreats"? Like come and gere Ram Dass. You will be treated to him and great cuisine, massage, yoga and shopping trips! The same is true for Deepak Chopra. If this help is so beneficial to manking then why is it not presented to the people that need it the most? The poeople that struggle and suffer day in and day out to just get by..

But I am sure Dr Dass has a good reason for holding he seminars in the nicest spots in Hawaii. You know like karma or what ever. Actually Hawaii has a number of gurus with solutions to man kinds chaos...
