From a non-spiritual standpoint it may appear like he has gone too far. But what good is spending your life trying to discover out truth, and then not living it when you believe you have found it ? I think Ram Dass has shown true dedication to improving himself and helping other people around him.

Because everybody is entitled to the information he offers, when you see him giving a lecture in hawaii or somewhere likewise just remember at these lectures one is more likely to get recorded and posted on the internet (as these people can afford the technology) over the lectures he gives to the less fortunate. And lets be fair here, he has spent vast amounts of time in solitude meditating and in other not so glamorous area's, to assume he motives and methods arent pure is very hasty i think.
