can you IV Ultram (tramadol)/

Swim Has used the search engine and has tried to find out, but no one has said you could IV tramadol. Swim knows it is soluable in water, so it should be able to be done. Have any other swimmers tried this and what were thier experiences? How many mg's etc? Need answer quick, swim is thinking about doing it in about an hour.

Tramadol does come in injectable form. But my friends mother gets them in the capsule forum with powder inside of course and he tried to 'cook one up' with water but it didn't appear to dissolve at all so he didn't try injecting it.

If a user could get it to dissolve properly in water, without any of the other fillers and shit in it, then i imagine it could be possible. That said, i can't recommend trying it because i wouldn't know if it is safe or not, and for that reason i would give it a miss until one could get information about this from some one who knows the correct way to do it.

I'm assuming that the Ultram is a pill.

Injecting pills is very risky, and isn't something I'd ever advise. If SWIY is determined to try it, at least read up on the dangers and harm reduction measures.

the oral bioavailability of tramadol is so high that any increase in it by more invasive routes is not worth the higher risk associated with these routes, in the pharophs opinion

I was wondering the same thing, since I'm not aware of anything other than tramdol being in swims 50mg pills (besides binders/fillers of course)

Posted in this forum because of the higher rate of iv users(presumably). and couldn't find any other information on iv'ing tramadol pills. Swim tried it, but it wasn't any better than oral, cause of all the shit left in the spoon. Even when swim ate the putrid shit in the spoon, it still wasn't any better than oral. Knew that iv'ing benzos was useless because of binders. Just running through a list of somestuff swim had to figure out if he could IV it. Basically, would try if it was water soluable, and didn't look like there was alot of nasty binders in the pills. Things like dialudid (hydromorphone) were swims favs. Haven't EVER felt anything better than 12 mg iv'd. This is for TOLERANT patients folks.
