Apparently in order to sell cannabis in a coffeshop you just have to go get a license. This is not that surprising. The officer also explained that it is illegal to transport the plant and illegal to grow the plant. So therefore the actually act of obtaining the plant is illegal, this is somewhat surprising to me. I would think the government would want to tax the transporation of the drug as well as its use.
