Darvocet question...

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, been lurking around for quite some time though. Anyway, Swim got his hands on some darvocet, they're Propoxy-N/APAP 100-650. Swim would like to know how much mg that is and swim also wants to take some recreationally and would like to know how many swim should take to get a nice high. Thanks Guys, glad to finally say something and sorry for having to start a whole thread for such a dumb question.

Re: Darvocet question...

I don't know much about propoxyphene (or whatever), but swim has taken darvocet before and would recommend probably 4-6 pills.

Re: Darvocet question...

Swim has been taking the exact pill posted for chronic back pain. He would recommend starting with 200mg or 2 pills and going from there. If swiy is looking for the nodding off state, he should start with 300-400mg and go from there. This assumes no opioid tolerance. Swiy should be careful when taking higher doses esspecially if taken with alcohol since they do contain a decent dose of tylenol. There isnt a real good way of extracting out the tylenol either.

Re: Darvocet question...

Thanks guys! So swim took 4 pills yesterday and felt pretty good. swim felt a little bit nauseous but only for about 5 minutes. swim felt pretty good, but not worth 2600 mg of tylenol and damaging swim's liver. Btw, swim snorted 40mg of oxycontin today and the itchyness was so unbearable that it killed swim's high. It was only the second time swim has ever done oxycontin and the first time, swim parachuted a 20mg. Swim will probably never do it again.

Re: Darvocet question...

Don't even bother with darvocets. The amount of acetaminophen swiy will ingest in order to get any euphoria just isn't worth it.

Re: Darvocet question...

Agreed, swim would mix darvocet and tramadol(the only thing he had with no APAP) with very good results for pain. Sadly nothing much in recreation. For a new comer it might be a nice place to start, but swim is an somewhat usual opium user.

This is true for the opioid tolerant but for the intolerant not so much. When swim first started taking darvocet 200mgs would produce about the same buzz as 5-7.5mgs of hydrocodone(given the exact buzz was is a bit different. Darvs seem more euphoric in gerneral to swim. ) 400mgs would put swim in a nice nodding state. The painkilling took a couple of days and worked quite well for about a month or 2 after which they did little more than a placebo. Now it takes 2-4x as much to get to the original state which swim is no longer willing to take because of the amount of acetaminophen(800mg is as high as he ever went which is 5200mg of tylenol. That is as far as he is willing to go). So swim guesses it's on to the next drug.

Re: Darvocet question...

Even for the opioid intolerant using any acetaminophen containing substance recreationally is not a good idea.Swim does not like to take acetaminophen even if he has to.

nor does swim but dose of tylenol in couple pill isnt going to do any damage if not taken often. Swim even noted to be carefull on higher doses in his first post.

Re: Darvocet question...

swij totally agrees. But then, a lot of drug users (kids mostly) don't give a rat's ass what's bad for them. Crystal meth, anyone?

Re: Darvocet question...

Well they may not care but atleast with sites like this we can make an attempt to warn them. The last thing swim wants to see is some 15 year old destroy his/her liver by taking a bunch of tylenol pm for a diphenhydramine buzz or something like that.

Re: Darvocet question...

SWIM's personal experience and opinion is that Darvocet is a garbage drug, it sucks. No good for rec. purposes. Or any other purpose for that fact. But that is SWIM's opinion.

P.S. The opiate content is negligible, very little.

Re: Darvocet question...

Well I have done a CWE before (Was told it would take out the acetaminophen) and achieved a pretty decent buzz.

I'd say it's probably more of a fact than your opinion . A while back swij took about 8 of them to ward off withdrawals and they kept the worst symptoms away, but he still felt like shit and it gave him a headache.
