Drug info - Pentobromital

Anyone of you got any kind of experience about Pentobromital? You can't really find any info from the internet about pentobromital so that's why I'm asking from you.

Has SWIY tried searching www.erowid.org for experience reports?

Erowid only has 4-5 reports about barbiturates, none of them about Pentobromital. From reading that name I guess it's the bromo version of Pentobarbital, which is a very strong barbiturate which used to be prescribed for sleeping problems, many decades ago. They are rendered obsolete due to their very serious side effects and the fact they are deadly when one overdoses on them, which is only a few times the normal dose. Please be very, very careful when experimenting with them, people have died by the dozens, or well, a lot more, because of accidental overdoses. They are however a very rare and exotic treat, especially the brominated version of Pentobarbital.

Thanks for the answer. You're right about that that the Pentobromital is decades old. The packet where I found them is from 1970's.

They are probaly around the same strength as Pentobarbital, and supplied in the some dose, 50mg or 100mg, right? SWIY should start out with 100mg. SWIY should wait a week between experiments, due to the long half life of Pentobromital, it takes a long time to get out of ones system. If 100mg doesn't give desired effects, take an additional tablet in a later experiment, though 100mg should certainly be noticeable. Ow, and please report back how it was, and write an experience report if possible, they are very, very rare.

Yes! Please do, SWIM has only had the oppurtunity to sample ANY barbituate once, and it wasn't a particularly rare one.

Maybe i will test or maybe i won't. I need some more info about this 'drug'. I think is Xanor is more nice than pentobromital? And yes, i think they are packed in 50 or 100mg.. I need to check those packages. What are the effects of barbituates? Only downer i've been tested is Xanor and I like it. Is Barbituates very different from Alprazolam ? I think Barbituates aren't so safe as Alprazolamfor exsample?

Barbituates act on the GABA recepetors, much the same as benzodiazepines. SWIY will find it a very similar feeling.
