Combinations - Methadone/Adderall

I take Adderall pretty much everyday because I have a prescription to it. Instead of taking the adderall tommorow, can I take the methadone and still be safe. Like, the amphetamine won't still be in my system to interact w/ the methadone right?

actually your first day off the adderall your brain will feel like mush and you will just want to sleep, in combination with methadone this could lead to dangerous respiratory depression. swim has personally mixed many opiates directly with adderall(amp. salts) and focalin(dexmethylphenidate) with no ill effects. its not really safe to mix it, but it isnt as dangerous as some want you to believe. swim says to take way less adderal than what he normally does just so he wont take anything away from the methadone through withdrawal, because opiates and amphetamines do have some shared receptor sites. so if swim is on 40mg swim says take 5mg or if hes on 10's just a chip off the pill.

Thx. You can split methadone pills right? They have scores on them and I know they're not time released, they are just absorbed slowly, or something like that.

if they're the wafers they should be split in 4 pieces (i think the wafers are 40mg), but the regular pills I think only go up to 10mg, which isn't much. What would be the point in splitting them up? Any pill can obviously be split up, and it might work a little faster if broken in half, but if you want it to work fast, crush it up and wrap it in a small piece of paper or tissue and eat it.

SWIM first tried methadone by snorting it, but would NOT recommend it, as it burns like FUCK.

SWIM knows a guy who takes 180mg of methadone a day and smokes lots of meth and it hasn't caused him any problems yet.

Yeah, yet. The only reason I feel weird about it is because the first time I took methadone, I mixed it with morphine. I threw up about 15 times, and for every word I spoke I had to take a deep breath to say another one. My skin was really pale too.

The morphine pill was a long, blue oblong pill. It lasted almost all day and it made me extremely euphoric. The weird thing was, I took that pill everyday for like a month or two and the effects never really decreased.

Do you have a prescription for methadone as well? Nothing wrong with the adderall part but if you're going to ask how a controlled drug you aren't prescibed to take will interact with one you are prescribed please default to swim or equivalent. Just a heads up.

Alright, will do. Also, I'm just asking if you can, I never said I was going to. swiy admitted to taking methadone/morphine, but that was like a year or two ago. Plus, swiy got expelled from school doing that, so it's already in record.

So all that horrible stuff swiy was feeling was from mixing the two, right? Just making sure because swiy heard methadone blocks other opiates from working.
