Re: mass youtube spam
I totally agree with you about the ridiculous amount of videos on youtube made by ignorant little kids who think they are so cool because they can smoke salvia and trip out like morons with a group of people around them laughing. AND While it really really irritates me to see these videos, i honestly don't think what you suggest will make much of a difference. Tbh the videos in no way break any youtube rules, so I cant see them being taken down!
But its good to see someone take an activist view to keeping drugs legal. Fairplay. |

Re: mass youtube spam
That phrase is fast becoming an oxymoron, in the same vein as "military intelligence"
Why don't they just stand in the high street, jumping up and down, shouting "look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me" etc. As for the OP wanting to try and take a stand against these kids, the only hope is that they are simply ignored. It is unlikely that salvia would be banned as a result of something that was only "worthy" of YouTube. It is more likely to be banned after some mother appearing on the mainsteam news after little johhny does something *really* stupid and she can blame this "evil drug"(tm). |

Re: mass youtube spam

Re: mass youtube spam
I've only just seen these videos.
How old are these kids? 15? 16? They're just asking for Salvia to be banned. |

Re: mass youtube spam
yea, i doubt too that we're going to get every video off the internet, but as long as i influence one person to delete their video, i'd be happy, because if that person learns, he might be able to get a video off the net, and it'll start a domino effect. and it's not like we have much to lose by posting a couple comments

Re: mass youtube spam
Youtube comments are pretty useless as it is, and I don't think we need to add more spam, especially in an aggressive manner.
If the posters even read the comments, the most I can see them doing is laughing really. If you want to voice your displeasure with the posting of such videos, by all means do so. I just don't think a coordinated effort is needed. If anything it would bring more attention to the videos which wouldn't help much. If someone were to write a polite message to the posters, articulating the sentiments of the Salvia-using community that such videos could be harmful should they gain notoriety, perhaps they would be kind enough to take them down. Thats the most I think could be reasonably done on the matter. That said, this thread is closed as it advocates mass spamming another site (thats what the title says at least) contrary to our rules and principles, and doesn't serve much other purpose. |
