SWIM's Typical Dosage Routine
Hey guys,
SWIM wants opinions from all of you so he can see if he can find a better routine of consumption when he acquires the good stuff. Albeit being an extremely experienced ex-recreational drug user, SWIM loves Dexedrine. Finding Dexedrine is something that is usually only possible once in a while (usually a month or more between acquisitions), so when SWIM does come upon some, he uses them to his benefit - for working, for generally having a much better day, etc. He usually gets between five and ten 15mg Dexedrine Spansules each time. He'll typically go through them within 24 hours. His typical routine for using his stash: It's usually random. He'll swallow one capsule orally and then either, A) open up a capsule and use 1/2 the beads for nasal usage, saving the rest for later, or B) crush 1 capsule between his teeth a couple times and then swallow. This is usually his initial dosage, and then throughout the rest of the day administer the rest in various ways - swallowing, chewing, or railing random amounts ranging from 1/4 of a capsule to almost a full capsule at different intervals during the day, depending on how he feels at the time he thinks he should re-dose. Seeing as how SWIM can usually only obtain so many pills at one time, he always racks his brain thinking about the most conservative way to make use of them. This is where SWIY-guys come in. SWIM would like to hear suggestions and opinions from the more experienced Dexedrine/Adderall users. Please be sure to describe SWIY's tolerance level, as it would help in considering your opinion. Thanks a lot!

Re: SWIM's Typical Dosage Routine
swim is not terribly experienced with stimulants, but it seems that if one is looking for a more intense experience, insufflation is the way to go.
if one wants the experience to last longer, then the pills should be taken orally. there is no way that swim is aware of to get the best of both worlds |

Re: SWIM's Typical Dosage Routine
SWIM usually has a pretty standard habit when he actually gets ahold of adderall.
SWIM rarely uses heavy amounts, actually he takes the standard doses in the proper ways, except he will often do two or three doses in a row. Obviously SWIM's use is not that heavy and it usually occurs maybe twice a month. Always take the pills orally, SWIM will never snort anything. A tolerance has not developed for SWIM when it comes to the effectiveness of the drug, but the drugs mild negative side-effects have become much less common. |

Re: SWIM's Typical Dosage Routine
On the original question: SWIM has found that to conserve mg, SWIY shouldn't dose more than once daily.
The acute tolerance to amphetamine develops so horribly rapidly because its method of action is actually horribly destructive to dopamine. (As opposed to many other drugs which manage the re-uptake rate.) So if one doses more than once daily, there's less dopamine available to one's brain at any rate, and eventually the dopamine depletion in a single day can become so dramatic that the acute tolerance is insurmountable (imagine taking 800mg of d-amphetamine and feeling no pleasure from it whatsoever.) The moral of the story is: moderately higher doses, but only once daily. |
