Largest Ever Drug Bust in Canada - SWIM's neighbour!

Hey guys,

SWIM is one of those drug users who dislike unreliability, shitty product, etc. from their dealers. Luckily, a few years back when SWIM was in 11th grade when SWIM began experimenting with chemical drugs (as he only smoked pot occasionally for fun prior to that), he met a dealer (strictly club drugs) who was very reputable in the city of Toronto. He became pretty close friends with this dealer, as this dealer was only in the 11th grade and was a very nice guy. After spending time with this guy, doing a lot of K and E with him in his condo, SWIM learned that this guy (let's call him Ray) was supplied by Canadian drug kingpins that supplied the majority of all dealers in the province with (strictly) club drugs. SWIM never actually met these kingpins, who turned out to live in a house about 15 houses away from SWIM, but seen them and seen Ray deal with them. The type of deals that were made were usually in high amounts, for example, thousands of E pills at a time, and kilograms of ketamine at a time. This really intrigued SWIM as he was very captured by large-scale, Scarface-like drug dealing.

Last Friday, SWIM was sitting, watching the news (as usual), and a story about a huge drug bust came on the screen. The report said that the RCMP pulled over a car occupied by 4 middle-aged Asian men at the main intersection near SWIM's house. When they searched the car, they found about 125,000 ecstasy pills stashed. They arrested the men, and this bust lead them back to a house in SWIM's area (the same house of the large-scale dealers that SWIM was familiar with!). As soon as SWIM heard the story, he went on the news channel's website and read more. Apparently, the house was being used as a meth lab for making ecstasy. Stored in the house were about 2,000,000 more ecstasy pills, most of which were allegedly headed to Brooklyn, NY. The RCMP quoted the value of all the drugs seized at about $40,000,000 and said it was the largest ever drug bust in all of Canadian history.

Now here's the coolest part (for SWIM, anyways). On Monday morning, SWIM had court (pre-trial for criminal/highway traffic charges), and was sitting in the court hallway where everyone waits, awaiting his pre-trial. SWIM looked to his right and suddenly saw a police officer holding a man in cuffs, walking him towards the back door (where they take you into a van headed to the local prison if you're convicted). SWIM took a look at the man's face, and it was one of the men arrested in the drug bust charge. It was really cool to see. The look on the guy's face was unbelievable!

I know most of you don't care, but the only reason I'm posting is because SWIM so shocked. You'd understand if you were in SWIM's shoes during this series of cool events.

(SWIM apologizes for writing so much - he has been doing lines of blow for about 7 hours now and is high as fuck.. haha )

Bongo always carries lolly-pops to give to people in court. Eases the tension to be given a lolly-pop by a hippie. But pisses the cops off when you offer them one.

^lol I can imagine offering a lollipop to a cop would wind them up.

Would be very freaky to find out ones neighbour is controlling $40,000,000 worth of drugs.

Thankfully it's good old SWIM who you don't know very well but are they not slightly worried about revealing too much information. Might be a good time to make sure the house is looking in a clean condition and hoovered - just in case any friendly visitors come by and congratulate SWIMs neighbourhood on being famous.

Do a google search for 'largest ever drug bust' and you will get 1.130.000 news stories in which some police unit claims to have done the biggest haul of all times. And all claim that the confiscated drugs are more valuable than gold.

That number of articles shows you how relative that is; your area may be without ecstasy tabs this week, but next week it will start to fill up and in a few weeks, others have jumped in and everything will start to get back to normal. Even though 2.000.000 ecstasy pills is a lot; on a national or global scale, it's absence doesn't mean much. Others will fill the demand. It's a drop of water on a hot plate.

If only politicians and government understood that. Very good point.

Re: Largest Ever Drug Bust in Canada - SWIM's neighbour!

I have never understood things like this. You would think that if you were running something like this you would have all angles covered. $40mil is probably more like $4mil as I'm sure they sold wholesale. But shit, if I had $mil in product I'd get rid of it and retire for awhile. Why be greedy. Why leave finished product at the manufacturing location? Why give the cops a reason to search your car? Why, why, and why? There is a whole bunch of mistakes made and I only know what I saw on the video.

Re: Largest Ever Drug Bust in Canada - SWIM's neighbour!

Amazingly, it was just last year that the same home was the site of a marijuana grow-op that was eventually raided by police. ^^ that seems to be a small error
