Dexedrine SR dissolved in a solution

SWIM was thinking about breaking his Dexedrine SR caps and dissolving the contents in water to eliminate the SR coating then have a solution of D-Amphetamine to drink. SWIM was wondering if any one has tried this method? Also if there are any suggestions they are welcomed.
