Different methods of taking codeine

SWIM have a 250 * 30mg codeine phosphate prescription and was wondering how SWIM can take them; SWIM heard snorting is out?

Swiy is a very lucky duck!! If Swim had those he'd consider either;
a) Swallowing
b) Chewing and swallowing
c) Dissolving in water and swallowing
d) Dissolving in water and plugging

He would only chose option 'd' if he had a full stomach which would delay the other onset of methods a, b and c.

Codeine is not particularly safe to snort, smoke or IV. Good oral bioavailability though and rapid onset if dissolved in water. If Swim has an empty stomach and drinks codeine in solution it its him in about 7 to 10 minutes and it hits hard!
