Re: Bloody Maryuana
Calls for quite a hefty dose of vodka - how many servings does it make? should it be drunk from tumblers, shots or high ball glasses? How long does it take to deliver? Is it an acquired taste or will most people enjoy it? Are the cucumbers, onion and peppers essential and could the tomatoes be replaced with tomato juice? Do you actually need to blend the croutons too or are they to be added afterwards? If you need to blend them then why not use bread crumbs?

Re: Bloody Maryuana
It should just make a good pary drink to share, it is not one dose. Let people help themselves, start small. SWIM usually serves it in wine glasses with a slice of cucumber.
The vegatables are necessary, they add to the overall flavour. Do not be afraid to experiment a little. It may sound disgusting but believe me even the most unsophisticated of palets have found it absolutely delicious. This is definately one for all. SWIY could use bread crumbs if he wished, it just produces a slightly different texture, that quite honestly SWIM doesn't like. It's all down to personal taste. |
