Would you be able to tell the difference from a urine sample between morphine and heroin?

No, since diacetylmorphine is metabolised into morphine in the brain anyway. Most standard opiate urine tests are for morphine anyway, and will pick up just about any opiate/opioid (except tramadol it seems)

However SWIY could argue that he is prescribed this, that and the other which is causing false positives for heroin. To differentiate between the two would take a lot of time and money that most companies are not willing to spend.
