USA - Michigan is trying to get Medical Marijuana

Who is Michigan Coalition for Compassionate Care?

It is a group of DEDICATED ACTIVISTS who are working hard TOGETHER to put Medical Marijuana on the November,2008 Michigan ballot! Some of us have been trying to get this done for years now.

This group is made up of members of MINORML, MPP, and CANN, along with interested citizen's of our state, who earnestly believe that together we can bring an end to this counter productive war on marijuana all together.....BUT.....also believe that it is time to remove our sick & dying from the battlefield first!!

Folks, this past weekend with Krystal was a real eye-opener for me. We had a wonderful visit together....got to know each other even better. We discussed a lot of things, but when she told me that to her knowledge, only about 12 to 15 MINORML members are collecting sigs, I was truly embarrassed as your Executive Director.

If I am correct, we now have over 300 dues-paying members, and the MINORML News list has over 500 people subscribers. I know that I am correct in saying that there were over 50 of us that stood in Tim Beck's office last December, and vowed to Rob Kampia that we would work hard on a MM intitiative if M.P.P. would help us.

Well, we obviously have a hell of a lot of soldiers MISSING IN ACTION!!
If YOU smoke/eat pot, and are physically able to collect sigs, even if it's just a few hours per week, then why aren't you doing it?! Krystal would really like to know!! Melody, Krystal, & I sat at the table Sunday nite till 1:30am, brainstorming on what it would take to motivate YOU, and this was only after Krystal as the petition organizer, and I as E.D. of MINORML tried to figure out just what in the hell that we were doing wrong!!

DO YOU WANT THIS TO SUCCEED?! DO YOU WANT TO QUALIFY MM FOR THE BALLOT IN '08'?!
