Dose - Dosing DMT, and other DMT compounds.

How would one go about measuring a dose of DMT without an analytical balance? I know the DMT varies in concentration from powder to pure crystal but I'm left without a simple guideline.

Start with a pile the size of a matchhead and work up from there.
Once one is familiar with a batch, it becomes quite easy to judge by eyeball aproximately what a dose will do.

One of the most common ways of measuring out powders without a scale is the old "graph paper" trick.

If you have a known quantity of powder and you put it on graph paper - the squares will help you divide that pile of powder in halves. Using a razor blade, split the pile in two equal piles - as best judged (tip, keep the piles low - don't eff with the Z-axis of height). Split those half-piles into halves, again, using the grid on the paper as a relative guideline.

Rinse and repeat until you have many little piles of approximate equal size.

Is this method exact? Fuck no.

Is it smart to use the first few times you try something? Fuck no.

Does it come in handy in a pinch? Sure.

Half of 1 is .5 - half of .5 is .25, etc. etc. So if you have a 1mg pile and want to have .25mg doses - it's a fair estimate if you have four similar piles...but it's ONLY AN ESTIMATE.

The more potent a substance is - the dumber and more irresponsible this technique becomes.

Thats a good idea, for my situation at least. Just go to find a powder that i know the exact weight of now.

Cool idea neone, never thought of that. SWIM got a scale that goes down to 0.001 and maxxes at 10grams, just weigh it and get it off, cause sometimes SWIM scales start dropping when measuring such low weight, its a cheap one for $35 it works great, especially when its fluffy crystal powder. A 50mg dose can look like a alot when totally fluffed out, but then compresses to a half pea size or so, but when scales are not available SWIM presses it flat to a pencil eraser size or half the size of a average pea.
