Tylenol 3.

I just have a quick question regarding Tylenol 3. I was prescribed it for pain due to an impacted wisdom tooth and another broken tooth that became infected until I go back in to get them fixed in about a week. I was told to take one, but I found that it didn't really do much for the pain and I started taking two. I know that the acetaminophen can be bad in high doses, but I was just wondering if it'd be safe to take 3 of these to get rid of the pain even more. I'd only be taking them for another week or two, but I don't have much experience with prescription drugs. Thanks a lot for reading, and for any help.

You should be fine.. As long as you are not doing this constantly for months you should be okay.

Hmm..Tylenol 3's should contain 300mg Paracetamol,30mg Codeine&15mg Caffeine so 3 of them would make 900mg of paracetamol..considering that they DO sell the 1g(1000mg) tablets and that they're ment to be taken more than once per day..You'll definitely be alright
