Experiences - Meaningful Salvia Divinorum Experiences?

Swim has read lots of salvia experience reports here and on erowid, and they all point to something different than what swim has experienced the few times he's used used it. Now swim is a moderately experienced tripper who greatly appreciates the philosophical/ spiritual aspect of entheogenic experiences, so he doesn't have much reason to think he's approaching salvia with the wrong mindset, so he's a little perplexed. he's used salvia about 5 times with around a month between, and each time the same basic thing that happens: visually, whatever he's looking at "disconnects" from its everyday appearance and the total scene gains a very strange extra dimensional sense of depth, which is interconnected and full of a powerful, alien sense of "life" and which mentally draws swim in but which he does not *see*. whatever visual scene he's taking in is not integrated with its spatial surroundings but with this alien world that functions in this new sense of "depth." Mentally, about all that happens is that swim observes this new world and feels like he can only think in similar thought patterns - i.e. thoughts are disconnected and do not flow from one to another, but can only flow into the distorted, alien depths of their own details, divorced from any sort of remotely human context. swim supposes that this is introspectively interesting, but the dominant feeling is of having his mind "broken" and being confused without being able to follow long enough thought chains to figure out why, though swims emotions never get fearful or negative in any other way. This seems to be a far cry from other experiences swim knows about such as visions, interacting with spirits, typical psychedelic visuals, thoughts that are relevant to the outside world, etc. Maybe this is just what salvia is like for swim, maybe swim isn't as open to finding spiritual meaning in trips as he thinks he his, maybe he is doing something wrong (meditate, try to interact with trip more actively mentally), maybe he just needs to take more? what do you think? swims experiments have been brought about using different combinations of 1 or 2 tokes using 10x or 5x extract. thanks.

SWIM has never had like a spiritual experience in the sense that swim actually met a divine being or spoke with one. Swim did however realize that his experience was spiritual after he analyzed what happened.

So in swim's case, the trips are also very intense (swim needs a much higher does than swiy is describing), and are usually confusing and/or repetitive. But one of them just taught swim a lot. That's just salvia's nature as a kappa opioid receptor agonist...everything is just so hectic.
